Case Included

Remove From Case and Unfold.

Unzip the bag and pull out the portable panel. Open the clasp and unfold the panels (except for the 45-watt portable, which is a single panel).

Pull out Legs and Set Up the Panel.

Pull out the support legs and set the panel out in direct sunlight. The panel will sit at an angle and should face the sun as directly as possible for maximum efficiency.

Connect the Panel to Your Solar Port or Battery.

Use the included SAE port to plug the kit into a Zamp Solar Ready port, or use the included alligator clamps to connect directly to the battery.

Plug and Play

Plug & Play with Zamp Solar Ready Ports:

Most RV’s have one.

Most newer RV’s come with a Zamp solar port on their wall or roof. If you have one, you can just plug the panel in with the included SAE cable and start charging!

No port? No Problem!

Use the included alligator clips to attach your portable kit to any kind of 12-volt battery or battery bank (including lithium).

I do a lot of dry camping in the middle of the woods and has worked well keeping batteries up and not having to run generator. It’s a little bulky but well built.

Solar panels work great. Winnebago had wired my trailer backwards, emailed tech support. Tech called back with simple solution and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Well made here in USA. Worth the extra money for quality USA.

I plugged right into my 2019 Rockwood Mini Lite. Keeps my 2-6 volt batteries topped up for the weekend while dry camping even with some cloudy days. The panels pulled between 3 and 7 amps throughout the day. The 140 watt setup is everything I need and more for my 25’ trailer. And for other Rockwood Mini Lite owners the Zamp case fits perfectly in the dinette while traveling. Zamp is on the pricey side but for plug n play top quality American made I believe this is worth the price. And customer service has answered all of my questions.

The Zamp, 140 watt solar charger is awesome. I hate sitting in a campground with a generator running for hours. I pull out my solar panel set it up and can enjoy a quiet setting while my batteries recharge. The solar charger is very well made and sturdy. It comes in a simple to use case. Also, I like you can see how the battery is charging.

Great quality. Was very apprehensive about purchase after seeing other panels for hundreds less. No longer apprehensive as was extremely happy with the quality of the Zamp panel. Well worth the extra money. The case, frame, legs, handle, closure, wiring, and componets are all top quality. Its obvious they are proud of their product. Keep up the good work! Sincerely Brian

Bought the ZAMP Solar 140-Watt Portable Solar Kit USP1002 and am very impressed with how well-built the unit is and easy to set-up and use. We’re planning a 2 week off-the-grid vacation in our toy hauler to explore the San Juan mountain trails in Colorado from our Polaris RZR so the ZAMP will see a lot of action. The unit is quite heavy, which is a tribute to how solidly it’s built, but we’ll still devise some kind of anchor (weights?) to hold it down if it becomes windy. Our only concern is that someone may want it more than we do so that’ll probably be our biggest issue. We bought the 15 ft extension cable and found it was a reasonable price because there aren’t many options that offer the same quality. I’ll update this after our adventure to highlight the positives or negatives we experience.

OMG, what a difference. Previously I purchased a 120-watt Chinese portable suitcase and used it for a year. Decided to buy American and Zamp was our choice. We have a 25 foot 2016 Airstream trailer and Zamp recommended the 140 watt model. It keeps our two 6 volt AGM batteries charged to the max. Very, very pleased.

Works great! Used it in Lake Havasu dry camping and charge rates were as high as 8.1 amps peak…needed Furrion adapter to plug into RV external port-no problems at all.

We bought this because there is a Zamp plug in built into our new RV. The panel is easy to set up and light weight. We love that is comes with a big padded case for the panel to sit in. The read out has a lot of options so you can look at how many amps or volts are being generated, choose different battery types and more. It is worth the money to just simply plug in and charge! Great American quality!

Excellent addition to motor home usefulness. Allows us to boondocks without running batteries down.
