Fully laminated solar panel, solid and well buildt, and it is very simple to use; just unfold the panels and plug in your appliances by USB. When you’re done, just fold the panels back up again within seconds. Very compact once folded and easy to store away. I had take with my camping several times, I had sunny days and it was enough to fully charge my power station and a couple cell phones each day.

After testing below on Nov 5th, the TP solar panel charged my solar generator from its remaining ~9,000mAh to completely full capacity of 45,000 mAh in 7 hours…3 hours prior to sunsetI began testing the TP Solar Panel at 1300 CST on November 5th by facing the panels directly at the sunlight and charging a 12V battery that was dormant for nearly 3 years. Sun elevation was 33.6 degrees and sun azimuth was 198 degrees. It was time to charge it up and test the panels. My initial reading was 21.28V and that was under scattered cloudy conditions. This was also while topping off my suunto ambit 3 run from 0% which achieved 100% in just over 2.5 hours while also charging the 12V battery.I returned to the panels at 1530, optimized the panel angle and was able to achieve 21.17V. I continued to test the panels at varying positions and angles while reading my voltmeter. At 1600 CST the suns altitude was 11.5 degrees at an azimuth of 238 degrees. The panel registered 20.40V when laying flat and 21.66V when angled directly at the sun.Our local sunset time is 1710, and at 1628 the panels were obscured by the shadows of the surrounding homes. Yet, the energy continued to generate with 20.31V (while also under scattered skies). With no direct sunlight I continued testing the panels. When directed towards the sunlit skies the voltmeter registered 19.99V, laying flat it read 19.52V. Over all the battery was charged to 5.87V from ZERO in appx 4 hours!!!The following are times with their respective volt readings. Local temperature was 48 degrees, elevation 800 feet, barometric pressure 30.25inHg, sun elevation 5 degrees, sun azimuth 245 degrees, scattered clouds, humidity 57%, panels receiving ZERO direct sunlight, all times are CST:1645 – 19.45V1649 – 18.94V1700 – 17.10V1705 – 9.10V1710 – 7.08VOkay, enough geek speak. These panels are freaking AWESOMELY WICKED!!! When laying flat and facing directly skyward with the sun teetering on the horizon I still captured 20+ volts. Are you kidding!?!?! Not only that I managed to charge my iPad, and Suunto to 100% and edge in 5.87 Volts on a battery that sat dormant for over three years.

Very funtional solar panel charger. I bought this 60W solar panel for camping, it will charge a phone in about 2 hours to full, also charges back up cell battery units, power banks or portable generator, it charges also in overcast weather but much slower than sunny day.

I bought it mostly because of it’s compact size. I was really impressed by the quality materials. It’s somewhat heavy, but I’m not complaining. It produced right at 100 watts indirect sunlight. Very impressed.

Love this solar panel, a good choice for charging battery. The TP-solar foldable solar panel is really well constructed, also high quality made. There are lots of cheaper solar panels out there for me, but storage is an issue so the foldable panel works well and takes up little space, this fold smaller than other type foldable solar panel, very sturdy and compact.

This solar panel works nicely and charges quickly in full sunlight. I am so happy with the compact size and ease of use, it is better than the foldable briefcase type, can fits in a backpack if needed. With 5V and 19V output, charged a cell phone with the 5v USB outlet and charged a car battery with the charging clamps. I will take it with my camping trip next time, I am surely it will work great for my portable generator.

The versatility of having both 18v and USB outputs is very nice. And the array of connection options the kit comes with is pretty impressive. There are a couple “nice to have” connectors like MC4 that are not there, but I suppose they couldn’t include every possibility and what is there will meet most peoples needs.I have not had a fully sunny day to test peak output, but the output on a cloudy day was right where I expected it to be for the panel rating. The panel is certainly compact when folded and is very light. The included zipper case works great for protecting the panel when not being used and keeping all the connectors from getting lost. The ETFE material panels should last a long time for occasional use but I worry a bit about how durable the electrical connections are inside the panel where it folds. I guess time will tell as there is no way to examine how this part of the panel is built without destroying it. My other concern is water resistance. There is a rubber cover to help protect the 18V and USB ports when not in use, but you certainly would not want to leave this out in any sort of weather with stuff plugged into it. So far I am happy with the purchase. Used this panel for camping in the desert for a week. Maintaining the 5 star review. The panel performed excellently with good current output in the sun and was even able to survive a significant rain storm with the connection box on the underside of the panel protected from the direct rain and elevated off the ground by some rocks to prevent water from pooling around it. I am extremely happy with it so far and will probably buy another one to power more stuff.

Excellent foldable solar panel. It performs very well, and much better than I expected on overcast days. It’s a must have for camping or just for emergencies. It is cheaper than other foldable solar panel, but definitely worth the money. I was surprised that it is made by fully laminated material, not like others made by oxford cloth. Definitely durable, I am sure it can last for many years.
