Love the way they look like real torch lights!! First day I had them up my neighbor came home that same night and I was outside admiring them and he complimented how great they looked! So I told him where I ordered them from!!

Installed an ornamental pond and dry riverbed in our back yard recently. Tons of choices for accent lighting yet wanted something different. Opted to go with these. First off they do create the impression of tiki torches. Each light consists of dozens and dozens of small led lights that, when light, cascade and flicker randomly creating the illusion of dancing flames. The light given off is more orange and golden than typical lights which is in keeping with the tiki torch effect. The cages or body of the light if you will feels like it is made of aluminum and the unit itself is weighty. The poles that support the light are made up of several plastic sections approximately 6 inches long that connect together. Thus you can adjust the height from low to the ground to as much as two or three feet. The poles seem sturdy enough when the lights are positioned on ya foot or two off the ground, but I wouldn’t trust them several feet up in the air. They last all night from dusk to dawn on a full charge. As we have had these only a few days I cannot comment on longevity, but I will be updating my review over the next year. Yes, these were pricey – yet based upon the product, the ease of installation, and the terrific look I’d gave to give this an easy 5 star review.

High quality. Love the adjustable heights for different uses. Put out a fair amount of light, so not just amazingly cool to look at. They seriously look like real flames from a distance. Husband wants to buy several more. We are going to purchase flag pole holders and attach to our log cabin porch posts at an angle. Old world feel. They come on as soon as it is dark, and stay on bright into the wee hours. We did notice if our pergola lights are on near the area, they go off. Bummer. Another reason we are moving them to the other side of the house.Purchase them, definitely worth it!

This review is overdue but I wanted to give it some time for a better perspective. These are amazing and you won’t be disappointed.I bought 4 to start for a townhome small front yard. Loved them so much, I bought 20 more for a larger property and they are stunning. The impact they make to our long driveway, flower bed and rock wall stairway is spectacular! The assemble is simply, easy on/off push button, and they are somewhat charged when you get them. I just installed another 4 tonight and right out of the box they are working even though instructions say 8hrs needed for charging. The only thing that’s not a 100% win for me is the stake. The tubing/spike is plastic and a strong wind can cause them to lean because they are top heavy. My solution, I got tiki torch metal spikes (Lowe’s) that you hammer into the ground, tubing goes inside metal stake, tightens with screw component. Sounds way more complicated than it is. They need to improve this part but the lighting outweighs the negative. If your looking for warm glow, impact lighting for a small or big space this is it.

This is my second purchase of these lights. The first pair I have had for a year and they have been through wind, rain and snow. This year I purchased 4 more to complete an approach to our patio. They look great! With solar lights in general, you never know about the quality until you get them and use them. Well these light deliver. A one year test of my original pair convinced me to buy 4 more. Friends have commented on how real they looked and asked for where I bought them. Now I only gave four stars for sturdiness and that’s because of the pole and stake that comes with it. They are ok but not tall enough for our needs. I am also not fond of sectional plastic poles. Just not robust enough for long term use. But hey, it was not my intent to use the plastic poles. Because we wanted the light to look more like torches, I purchased 10 foot galvanized threaded pipe. Cut them in half, painted them black and pounded them into the ground. So if you put the cut end into the ground, protecting the threaded end as you do this, and once you have the pole set, and if you are careful and patient, the light unit will self thread on to the galvanized pole! This may not work for everyone, but after a year of use this setup worked best for me, including snow and ice. They get plenty of sun and even on cloudy days, they still come on at night! Yea that is why I liked them, and that is why I bought more. Good luck and I hope you enjoy these as much as we do. FYI- if they get a full day of sun, they are on for more than six hours- plenty for an evening. Even in the winter with shorter days, they were still on for hours, which was cool on those snowy evenings looking out to the patio.7-1-20 all are functioning great and no issues. If I get up early enough, they are still on!! Attached a video for how we are using them.

I purchased these based on other reviews and I love the quality of the torch Very well made and have a fantastic flame vibe to them. The poles are, however a bit cheesy, though they do work.I purchased a 5 pole bamboo kit on eBay for $25 and crafted my own poles with pine stakes and mounting, white clue, paint and string. Pic three is the original pole. This back remodel is still in progress. I can’t speak to the longevity but as they are LED with replaceable batteries, they should be ok…we’ll see!Thank you, Amazon for the quick delivery!

I bought one set of four of these solar power lights first to see how they work. Assembling the lights was easy. As instructed, I pressed the white button on each light for several seconds and then inserted into the ground. I was so impressed that I purchased a second set of four. The first set of lasted more than two months now and are great. In fact, the lights have been through several rainstorms and have not faltered at all. Even on completely cloudy days with light rain, the solar battery has had enough power to keep the lights going all night.

I love these lights, like seriously love them. They are beautiful, unique, and I want a yard full of them. They literally look like tiki torches at night. I ordered 8 then 8 more. I had a problem with one, but TomCare was wonderful to work with and replaced it. I will be buying many, many more for myself and as gifts for others.

After several weeks, all 8 torches work fine, and we still love the flickering flame effect. Used 1/2 in. x 4 ft rebar stakes to slip the plastic support poles over. They all shine full-strength until dawn, while our cheaper solar path lights have mostly gone out by that time. I just ordered 4 more.
