Love this watch. Timex continues to deliver great value. Hope the solar power will deliver as promised.

Buy this watch, You won’t be disappointed! It took me a week and a half to find the right watch. Out of the box it’s dead but give it some light and it jumps to life with the second hand doing a double tick at first. Give it some time (no pun intended). For the price this seems like a very good choice, not to heavy and feels well crafted. Only reason I gave it 4 stars for comfort was probably because it’s been awhile since I’ve worn a watch, not accustomed to the sensation.

Watch looks substantial in design and construction. Watch weight and feel on wrist is just about perfect for me- I know it’s there but not at all heavy. Not sure I’ve owned a TIMEX since a youth, but this looks a lot better to me than other TIMEX watches I remember. This is my initial impression so the important things like time keeping and solar charging have yet to be reviewed.

What you see is what you get. I chose it for the solar. The one minor disappointment is the bezel does not move. Rotating bezel is a good old fashioned timer. A week in and I’m pleased.

Was disappointed that bezel was locked and would not rotate in order to use as a timer.also, watch does not have the indiglo backlight. That having been said, watch keeps excellent time; easy to read, and is attractive though does not overly attract attention.

Fantastic watch for the money. Quartz accuracy, but no battery to replace thanks to the solar technology. Note: The bezel does not rotate. It’s apparently for looks only.

Let sit on sunny window sill a hour and started.Keeps perfect time so far.Not a big fan of brown band. Will change that, no problemA little bigger then my old watch. That’s ok as my eyesight is’t as good now.Night vision is so-so for the hands

Timex with solar? This is my favorite brand and what I consider the best power source movement.I chose the dark brown/green dial w/ orange second hand and accents. The design and the color scheme are perfect for a field watch. The dial is more of a charcoal gray and green mix, but very handsome. The hands are white and bright against the face, so I can catch the time in a glance and the second hand has a flight style tip in orange that goes all the way to the minute markers. The watch itself is very well constructed and it is also very light. I don’t feel it on my wrist compared to others I have worn. The band is a patterned brown leather, keeping with the field watch look and it is one of the few straps that have ever conformed comfortably to my wrist right out of the box.Speaking of wrists, mine is 8 1/4in and it fits great. My only hesitation over the 5 stars is that the bezel looks like a rotating bezel, but is in fact stationary. I’m a little disappointed in that. But of course, a field watch doesn’t need a ‘divers bezel’ in the first place. My suggestion to Timex is keep the coin edge bezel and add raised 5 minute min marks on the insert.Overall the good looks and the addition of Solar charging along with the low price make this watch well worth recommending!

I’ve had this watch a week and it has not slowed or stopped yet. I was skeptical about getting a watch with a leather band but this one does not feel like it is going to disintegrate/fall apart on me. It is a beautiful watch and I love the way it looks. It doesn’t tick super loud. The only thing about this watch is that the band does not go small enough, but I believe that is because it is a men’s watch and I have very tiny wrists. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I got this watch as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. It does just enough for him and it looks good on him. He has a big wrist so this watch looks perfect. I recommend it
