I have been converting all the incandescent bulbs in our home to LED bulbs. There are many things I like about LED bulbs: they do not get hot, they cast a pleasing soft white light, they last forever. The only thing I don’t like about LED bulbs is the price. When I saw these bulbs on Amazon for a price of less than $1 per bulb I had to give them I try. So glad I did! These bulbs are well built. They screw into the socket easily. They turn on immediately. The light is a consistent soft white across all bulbs.I have been so pleased that I have reordered this 24 pack a couple times to make sure I have plenty of bulbs on hand. I highly recommend. Five stars.

I thought I’d never see the day when LED bulbs got this cheap. I’m very pleased to be able to get 24 for what I used to pay for a SINGLE BULB, not that long ago.So I bought this pack and replaced all the remaining CFLs and incandescents in my house and garage yesterday. Despite what others have written in their reviews, they all have the Sylvania logo, and every one works out of the box. Unlike some early LED designs, the light is reasonably omnidirectional, and they give off a lot of it — even a little more than the CFLs they replaced. And the color is a pleasing soft white, not the harsh, bluish color emitted by many. They are not dimmable. Look elsewhere for that. The biggest problem I’ve had with LED bulbs in the past is that their lifetimes have universally been MUCH shorter the interval stated on their packaging. But at this price point, if they last as long as a CFL, I’ll be way ahead.Time will tell…but right now, I couldn’t be happier.

These light bulbs pretty much perform exactly like they are described. About as many lumes as you need and 2700k color temperature CRI 80+. Exactly the bulb i was looking for and replaced every light bulb in my house, some CFL some incandescent some older leds; I’m happy with changing the light bulbs. Notice the CRI 80+, the reason you are replacing leds is because the CRI is less than 80. You probably are sick of the bulbs with a low CRI and trying to mimic incandescent 100 CRI. Don’t do it. We swung too far trying to get rid of the blue light LEDs produce and went too yellow to protect our eyes; you’re looking for a high CRI for your eye protection. You wont be happy in the long run having 2700k color temperature because you’ll eventually want something closer to 3000k or even 4000k for the kitchen. But you’ll need a CRI of 80+, buy a box of these they’re cheap enough but don’t replace every light in your house until you’ve tested enough bulbs to figure out what I mean by the CRI and color temperature. I wanted all the bulbs in my house to be the same because I cant stand seeing different color bulbs in the same fixture. Now I’m changing these out for 4000k in my kitchen for now at least. All in all though I’m happy with this purchase because I’ve learned a lot about CRI and color temperature. The next wave of LEDs I predict will not produce as much heat somehow.

Great deal for the Money! I replaced all my curly florescent type blubs and Halogen type with these and wow they look awesome.Pros:- Bright! Maybe even brighter than a normal 60 W bulb (in my opinion)- You cannot tell these are LEDs the light looks the same “warmth” as a normal 60 W bulb- 10 to 22-year life, I am not sure if they will actually last this long but we’ll see.- The box claims 82% less energy than halogen bulbs, again we’ll see.- Only slightly warm to the touch even after being on for hours. No fear of the little ones burning themselves touching the lamplight.- Plastic so if you drop they won’t shatter into sharp glass fragments.- Put this in my outdoor porch light and I swear it attracts fewer bugs than the normal 60 W bulb but my result is very unscientific as it could be temperature, rain or other factors causing a decrease in bugs.Cons:- They don’t work well with a dimmer switch, but this is made clear in the ad. I will say it kind of works for a small range then it starts wildly flickering which is not good for the bulb or your eyes. If you have a dimmer you need to keep it on full (which kind of defeats the reason for the dimmer)- The porcelain base most of the time stays hidden away but, on some lamps and ceiling fans, it is clearly visible. I much prefer that look to the curly lights.

I bought these for less than $18 on Prime Day and I’m nicely surprised by the quality! These are indeed Sylvania lightbulbs (one of the reviews said they might be fakes). They are well-packaged and very bright. I put one in a clamp-on aluminum light and compared the brightness to a dollar ikea bulb in a lamp, and it is way brighter. I tested two packages of the bulbs and 8/8 worked so I stopped testing. I feel confident the rest will work but will update my review if they don’t.

We live in a geodesic dome (!) and almost all our lighting is wall-mounted. To change a bulb requires climbing a ladder 6-12 feet up, and for incandescents, it seems we’re constantly doing this. I tried compact fluorescent bulbs but she didn’t like the somewhat bluish tone. When I tried the 75W LED bulbs, the light spectrum looked about the same as the old bulbs, but she immediately picked up the bright one (as in “Which one of these is not like the others?”). These perfectly match our 60 W old bulbs; I changed 7 of them when she wasn’t looking. I anticipate that in several years she may comment about how we haven’t had to change one since forever. I look forward to that day. Highly recommended.

I must admit, after strong the unbelievable price of just over $1/bulb I was a bit skeptical. Especially after seeing one of the top reviews claiming they didn’t actually receive the high quality Sylvania bulbs as the box so prominently displays.Much to my relief however, not 1, but all 24 of the bulbs I received in my Sylvania box were in fact high quality Sylvania light bulbs!! As I swapped these remarkably high efficient sources of light out with the standard incandescent bulbs my house was ordered with I noticed that the new bulbs were actually brighter than their outdated counter parts. This was quite a pleasant surprise!

I bought a large order of 1,600 lumen LED bulbs on Amazon Prime Day, and they turned out to be a COMPLETE scam, despite the 92% 5 star ratings at the time. All the ratings went down to 1 star after one month, right after the Amazon return window had closed, which was right when those bulbs started to fail one after another, and not just for me, EVERY rating after that was 1 star and said the same thing. Amazon refused to take any responsibility for letting this seller inflict this scam on it’s customers, and the seller is still selling lots of other products on Amazon, so I guess Amazon is fine with their sellers doing this. So be careful when you see products with high ratings claiming to last over 25 years but which only offer a 30-day warranty! So, to get to this product: I bought these bulbs to replace those fake ones. Although these are only half as bright, at least they have not ALL burned out in the first 1-3 months. In fact, so far these have all worked fine and not a single one has had any issues, flickered or burned out. Compared to other LED bulbs these days, I give these ones 5 stars just for not being a total scam. In fact, the only thing I don’t like about these is that I wish they were brighter, but it seems hard to find anything very bright in the LED industry, so I’m starting to give up and just make due with dimmer bulbs. This might be my second month using these bulbs though, so I’ll update this review if anything changes, but so far so good!

It’s been a real pain in the neck the last few years to buy something as simple as a light bulb. With the demise of traditional incandescent bulbs in the U.S., the hunt for a suitable substitute has been nothing but pure aggravation, wasted time, and wasted money. FINALLY, Sylvania has come up with the answer to my problem. THIS is the bulb you are looking for. It has superb brightness, gives off perfect soft-white glow, and lasts and lasts. In fact, I have yet to replace a single one I’ve installed in my home going back to last September (many of which are used literally every single day). The appearance of the bulb itself is a little different and it does take a little while to become accustomed to the change in look from the old-fashioned bulbs we grew up with. However, once you install these in your home or workplace you’ll be glad you did. No more funky colored light. No more low quality garbage that costs way too much and doesn’t deliver the light we have always enjoyed with incandescents. No more replacing bulbs constantly. If you are like I was, looking for a solid replacement with modern energy efficiency, this is it. A++++++ product!

I got tired of buying the 4-pack of bulbs at my local supermart and running out at inconvenient times. I ordered this 24-pack to end that dilemma. I was a bit concerned about the bulbs arriving undamaged. I checked the package (specifically each light bulb) to ensure there was no breakage. First of all, the bulbs were well packaged. Second, the bulbs have this nice reinforced coating at the bottom of the bulbs. I’m not sure the purpose for that but I like it. Third, the bulbs have a nice, unique soft brightness. Fourth, the bulbs have an estimated $1.08 energy “cost per year!” I can not comment on the longevity yet. I will post an update if I notice anything less than a normal bulb lifespan. Overall, I am very impressed with the packaging, presentation, quality, and estimated cost efficiency of Sylvania’s lightbulbs. This is my new “go-to” product. I intend to buy this product again but hopefully not for a very long time. I highly recommend this product.Side note: That’s my writing “Light Bulbs” on the box.
