I’m a collector of many watches and I love them all in a different way. This watch attracted me for the lume mainly I haven’t seen Seiko do 2 color lume before. I have a Citizen promaster 200m that is similar to this but this is the granddaddy compared to that. LUMED BEZEL! this thing will be a collectors item very soon in my opinion. I have a large wrist and this thing fits great and the softness of this rubber strap can’t be overstated. Im in the honeymoon stage with this one right now so I’m not really giving the rest of collection much love right now.

I managed to purchase this watch, at a lower price via Amazon. The watch arrived on time, and well packaged. This watch is a beautiful piece of technology. The solar drive start ticking as soon as it got exposed to light (to be expected). The only cons that I found is that in my wrist the watch seems smaller that I anticipated, when compared with other dive watches that I own (ex: Invicta), that said, neither it is a tiny watch, it’s just right. I look forward to many years of battery free service from this awesome watch… btw, the hue of the dark/navy blue color is perfect. Lastly, I noticed at night that the lumi bright color is green on the minute hand & bezel marker and an aqua like color at the hour markers, a little research it turns out that this is a design touch purposely added to this special edition baby tuna..cool touch. I would highly recommend this watch based on my experience with the reliability of my existing Seiko’s. Enjoy!

If you are looking for a well-balanced dive watch this is a great starting point. The purchase price on AMZ was $244 shipped which is a great value for what you get.Pros:Unbeatable price for a ISO dive watch.Great fit and finish.PADI limited edition has the wave dial patterm (similar to Omega Diver 300M).Better lume than most swiss brands.Works well with NATO nylon straps (see pic).Plastic case protector esures long-life without risk of damage.Quartz accuracy. No need to resplace batteries or keep on a watch winder.Cons:Shipping. Watch came in Amazon box with ZERO packaging foam/wrap.You may find some QC issues around print alignment. Mine didnt have any.If you boughht this watch expecting a large presence on the wrist (like me) you may be dissapointed. The case diameter is very close to 47mm (I measure with calipers)s but it looks much smaller like a 42mm. I think this is due to the dark colored case protector.

Brilliant watch! Seiko has done a fantastic job designing this one.

This watch is a great value! It’s a solid dive watch with 200m WR, has a stainless steel case, a comfortable silicone band, a very nice looking dial, and great lume – all for a pretty low price. This watch has impressed me with what you get for the money. Even though the bezel shroud is plastic, that is not obvious by looking at it or even by touching it. The red “Pepsi” bezel gives it a sporty look, and it even has two-color lume! The bezel action is good, and the second hand hits the center of all the markers. I really like it! It joins another solar Tuna I recently got, as well as my SBBN031 Marinemaster.

I like the way the watch looks as it is but I wanted to make it my own creation so I made plans for it prior to purchasing it. The original silicone strap is very comfortable and well made by Seiko standards but I swapped it with a shark mesh bracelet and a NATO just for fun. I also replace the plastic shroud for a stainless steel one. The end result is perfection to my eyes. A sport watch that looks unique and more expensive than its total price tag may suggest.

It’s an excellent watch, with the Seiko rubber standard strap, it has a Wonderful feel on the wrist, it’s a Beautiful Watch. I’m an automatic movement guy, just because, but let’s be honest, as for time accuracy a Quartz or solar do a much better job. At 43.8mm (Let’s call it 44mm), it fits perfectly around my 7’ wrist, & doesn’t appear like a 44, even with the Shroud. It’s definitely a sport watch, you’re not wearing this at a board meeting, unless You’re referring to a Surfboard. I replaced the blue Shroud with a Stainless Steel one from Yobokies, and I love the watch even more, if you’re on the fence, don’t be, I picked mine up for $227, I thought it was a great price. It’s a watch that just sits on my dresser, Not in any of my watch boxes, why…..because it’s my go to watch, Period

Good sturdy watch. The solar charge is simple and idiot proof, no messy opening watch case. Keeps great time, has not lost a second in the 2 weeks i have had the watch. I always buy dive watches as i never take them off for anything, shower included. I work in the medical trade and am constantly washing hands between patient interactions, waterproof to 200m is another example of idiot proof. I believe in the KISS mnemonic ‘ keep it simple stupid’. This watch lives up to the ‘simple’.I put a blue perlon strap from Crown & Buckle on the watch, i find the cloth perlon more appropriate for my use. Go ahead and buy one, no disappointment will be appreciated. SW

I have had the watch for a few weeks and wear it every day. I like the weight although it may well be lighter than my other Tuna, and the color scheme of the face is very attractive. It is a solar powered watch which is important to me because I find that automatic watches stop operating overnight. That may or may not be a problem to others.Love the watch and expect many years of problem free use.I have now had the watch for several months, and am pleased to add that the is very accurate. From the initial setting the time is right on accurate.

The Seiko Tuna, solar quartz, Prospexs PADI, is a home run for Seiko. Its fairly light weight, but rugged and solidly constructed. Once charged by solar power will run for 10 months. Very luminous in the dark.
