Got it for my dad, it’s shinier than the photo FYI. Picked it out at the mall and ordered it here because, price. Wouldn’t recommend it for daily wear. Black watches tend to get scratches easily and this one will get scratches even more because of the shiny finish.

I have only been wearing this watch for about five days so it could develop problems, but at this point it is great. It is very attractive. It was easy and intuitive to set, plus the instructions were well-written. It seems very well-made. In my experience this is a pretty heavy watch–but I haven’t typically had heavy watches. It feel substantial. I have shied away from metal bands because of fit and wear issues, but this one is quite comfortable. My wrist is about 7 1/2″ so the band was large. I took out a couple of links and it fits well. I bought one of the little tools for sale on Amazon and it did the trick, but it is not well-made so I am glad I did not pay more. If you think you would buy a watch with a band that needs to be adjusted, you ought to check out the how to videos on YouTube. Some folks there suggest ways to remove links without buying the tool.

Bought for husband for Christmas after hints for a chronograph watch. I fell in love with the two-tone and took a change by purchasing on line. Glad I did. He was wowed by the look and craftsmanship, and has gotten compliment after compliment from other men.

Beautiful watch!Great price at Amazon – well below the suggested retail price! I love the fact that it is solar powered and I never have to worry about new batteries. This one was delivered last week. The only thing I had to do other than charge it and set the date and time was to take it to a jeweler to remove a couple of links in the band. He just charged $5 for that – took less than 2-3 minutes. This is my second solar powered Seiko chronograph watch. The first one keeps nearly perfect time, only a couple of seconds variance each month, if that. I love the Seiko brand and now have three of them.

Once I got the hours in the right half of the day, it’s been perfect! I haven’t had a Seiko since the very early 70’s and felt I was due a new one. I compared several brands and decided this was it. I’ve had it a couple of weeks now and it has kept perfect time. It’s the right style and just a tad darker, overall than the photo but that makes it even better. Great watch.

Not usually a fan of chronograph watches and generally prefer automatic movements but this watch is just sexy. Love the two tone it gets a lot of attention when I where it. The multi dials make it a little tough to read but not unreasonable. I’d buy it againI usually wear a different watch daily. Most of mine are automatics and require setting and winding before use. It’s nice to be able to grab this one and go without either of the previous.

Love it. The solar battery is a bit of time saver for me. When my last Seiko Chronograph started to die (after 18 years) I was having to get to a jewelers for a new bat. ’bout every 4 months. What do you do if you’re out in the field, celestial time? Not accurate enough. I guess I could get an “App” for my phone. Yeah, right.

As a beginning watch collector, I decided this would be a great center piece to my collection. I couldn’t be any happier with this watch. It is a little darker than in the picture kind of resembles a shiny gun metal, which is exactly what I was looking for. Very light weight solid time piece i have had almost 2 months now and I have not had to change the time yet. Very accurate chronograph feature. Great watch for those looking for a quality piece.

I love Seiko watches. This is my 4th, three of them are solar and keep excellent time. The 4th was battery powered and did eventually stop and was damaged during battery replacement. The entire Seiko line is outstanding and my go to watch now and into the future.

I seriously recommend that any watch collector who seeks out sleek and stylish watches with useful features purchase this one. I am loyal to the brands that bring quality, which Seiko certainly does, and this watch does not disappoint. After spending a couple of hundred dollars a few years ago to have all of my battery-driven watches’ batteries replaced and several of them refurbished, I started to look for solar-powered watches. I bought this one soon thereafter and have not had a single complaint about it since. It’s size is on the med-large end, so that the face is large enough for a big guy like me (6’1″, 300lbs), but not so much as to overpower a more slender dude. The band is solid and sturdy, with enough play in it to be comfortable and still maintain toughness from its metal construction. The truly futuristic silver and black design has gotten me many compliments on this watch, and fits with any dress code – works with jeans and a nice t-shirt just as nicely as it does if you are wearing business attire. If you want a quality watch at a low-med price, not worry about batteries anymore, and have it be a piece that catches the eye, just hit the button and buy it now.
