This was a terrific buy! This camera is great and the solar charger works well. The motion sensor works great and the IR is excellent. This system did work with my WPS router just used the router password and the picture showed up on my phone. The SD card is a great back up to the cloud. Hi can download video from the cloud to your phone or computer UPDATE We just purchased another one because it works so well. I love that I get notifications on my cell phone when away from home and at home. Talk feature is great. The alarm on the camera isn’t loud but that is with me

I have used this for about a month now and I love it. Easy to connect and set up, battery is good, solar charges the battery perfectly and it’s always at 100% , even when I look at it in the morning, 1080P quality, Works in the dark so, for the price I can’t complain. I set it up to send me an email when there is movement in my back driveway. I have even recommended this to friends who have bought one for themselves. Works GREAT, easy to install, I did use a camera mount for the solar panel to attach on My gutter. I use a 64gb sd card, The solar panel if setup in the right spot, will keep the camera charged. Attached is a photo of the mount I used for the solar panel on My gutter, You can use as well for the camera, same size fitting, rather than use screws. To each His own, works for Me.

In the camera setup process, it was a challenge to make the QR code large enough on the Mac screen so the Camera would recognise the QR code. To accomplish this we used Adobe Acrobat Pro to ‘Selection Capture’ the QR code and then enlarge it by 300%. Then the Argus Pro Camera is able to recognise the QR code and be added to the device list successfully -Now have three cameras installed outside around the house -Battery-powered with solar panel re-charge – so normally the cameras are in sleep mode (off), and they become activated only for a short period by motion sensor, or client software and so forth -The design/product/software – all brilliant – and solar panels working great also –

Good picture quality, I like all the options available to customize the camera however you’d like or need. I have the motion setting set to sensitive so I think that might be why the battery drains quickly. I am going to change the setting to the medium sensitivity and see how that goes . I like the cloud recording option also. Also I was worried about purchasing after reading a few inaccurate reviews in regards to being able to view live camera feed while not at home. So to clarify, yes you can view the live camera feed via your phone or tablet while you are away from home.

I would have to to say. I don’t know what freak people are talking about when the can’t view live away from home.. I view live all day long. The sensitivity is very sensitive which I like more likely to catch the crime. Very good camra. At first I didn’t like the camra but now I love it. It truly is my to go to camra. I just bought anthor one for my side yard.. Don’t listen to the retarts putting bad review on this camra. It is the best out there ,case closed. Just buy the camra it will be you last stop.

i got this for monitoring / securing my outdoors. i previously had the argus which took the cr132A batteries. i got rechargeable batteries, but had to replace them every 3-5 weeks. it got so tedious, i just stopped replacing them. when i saw this solar rechargeable option, i jumped on it. the motion detection is great and it’s super easy to setup. my camera always shows 100%. the cable for the solar attachment is very long. one feature i wish this had is ftp support or an easy way to scrape the photos/videos from the camera. only the non battery powered cameras support this. i do have it setup to email me the photo when motion is detected. i use IFTTT to scrape the email attachments to my dropbox.we love this so much that we ordered another one to secure another view of our house.

I bought this for extra security with the solar panel. The battery on this bad boy lasts and extremely long time, the picture quality is great, and the app for this device works better than expected, I am leaving a review because I was hesitant on buying based on other reviews but if you are somewhat tech savvy you will realize some reviews are from people who have no idea what they’re doing. I am happy with my purchase and it holds up so far to the elements outside as well, for all those who are clueless you need wifi DUH how would you expect signal to transfer? Really isnt hard…

Fantastic camera with solar power. Install and setup took minutes. I love the 7day free storage to cloud. You could easily just buy a huge SD card and keep 30 of feed on it or more depending on size. Night cam works great I was worried it would suck actually. Been playing with it all day. Very impressed with features like talk back and alarm. Also can share cam feed with other family members. My wife and I don’t have to share a phone or monitor. Also adding additional cameras to the system is awesome and easy. Good range on wifi too. Its about 80 feet from box and still great.
