I can’t speak enough praise of Renogy’s products and this was perfect, as always. Easy to instal and works great. This is a favorite solar charger cosmetically….I also have to others by Renogy and I like this one the best. Remember to buy fuses and an extra set of mc4 connectors if your panels aren’t right next to eachother. I was able to use the extra cable lines, I just needed to buy mc4 connectors to make an extension cable (and a crimp tool if you don’t have one)

We installed the system on our 36 ft Bounder along with a few additonal cable and the Windy nation3000 watt inverter and 6 trojan battieries. A complex install when you consider what all we accomplished but now the coach has the ablity to be off grid over night and still function on a 30 amp breaker installed in the exsiting panel. We worked with both the tech support at Renogy and Windy Nation to plan and implement the system we needed and wanted. Thank you too both companies.

Working great so far. Everything needed was included. Quality equipment. Great customer service, made several calls for help with install and were always eager to help.

Simplicity is key, and this system delivers. Look, I am an electrical engineer and I could have put together a system piece by piece if I wanted. But this system is so good, and so easy to make work! Why would I go to the trouble of figuring everything out when Renogy has done it for me?I live on an island that was decimated by Hurricane Maria and six months later the power delivery is very spotty. This great little system carries us through the common, sometimes several times a day, power outages. I can charge all my devices, power my internet antenna, run a fan for hours, a few LED lights, etc. It won’t run a fridge, but it will run pretty much everything else we need in our daily lives. I’m running it with two marine deep cycle batteries (not included with the kit) and that’s working well.I’m very happy with this purchase and I bet you will be too!

8/28/19 UpdateWe used our system for a 10 day camping trip to Glacier National Park and other areas. We were very impressed. Each day our batteries were charged; some days fully and other days partially. With that said, we left the popup camper every morning for adventures and returned in the evenings. Some days were cloudy. We also were around trees and camping in the mountains… so I don’t know how much of the day the sun was even shining on the panels. While I doubt I will ever recoup my cost in electricity savings (using the camper 10-14 days a year) I am already very happy with the performance of the solar system. It kept us with power (to charge camera batteries, phones and laptops) during a 10 day trip without ever plugging into the grid for electricity!Early July (first impression):This is a first impression. Wow!!! The package was as promised and very easy to set up. I plan to do an update after we have used it for a while. Please note that I upgraded it a bit by purchasing the inline fuses and upgraded the controller. I wish we had tried a solar package before this.

I’m able to power just about everything in my rv, including my confection oven, though I haven’t pushed it to see for how long. Keeps my 4 six volt batteries topped off with ease and runs my 2k watt inverter beyond my expectations. Great addition to my coach and I’m looking forward to seeing how long I can go off the grid using the system. Can’t comment on the effect of consecutive cloudy days yet, system was installed in the spring. Will update when I put it to the test.

Excellent kit. Pretty much everything you’ll need to wire it up for your RV. I installed these on top of my trailer – 300W – and I”m expecting that this set up will fairly easily keep my 200+ Amp (dual 6v golf cart) batteries charged during extended camping trips, eliminating the need to carry a generator along. During a sunny day in Seattle (a rarity!), I am getting about 16 amps at 14v (224 watts) in full sun at 3 PM (July) – with a bit of sun angle diminishing full output. The solar panels and connectors are first-quality, the solar charge controller works great (and tapers the charge as the battery voltage increases to a full charge.NOTE: Because you are not to have the panels connected to a load without the controller being attached to your battery – I added a 30 amp switch between the panels and the controller allowing me to shut off the panels if I need to disconnect the battery. Also – I purchased a 30 amp fuse for the hot wire between the battery and the controller – I would certainly advise always putting an appropriately-frated fuse in line with any power wire coming from the battery.

These are my first solar panels that I have ever owned, so I dont have anything to compare them to, but I am very pleased with their performance so far. I installed these on the roof of my shed. I was pretty limited on options, because I wanted them out of sight and ON the roof, not mounted remotely. So where I ended up putting them only gets about 4 hours of hard sun per day. I have them charging two 12v, 56ah batteries. And the batteries power three 12v lights that are wired for dusk to dawn operation. The lights run about 10 hours per night right now(winter time). I tried to calculate how much charge capacity I needed but I couldn’t really make sense of the results. So I decided on this kit and it charges great. Even after 5 days of clouds, the panels charge my batteries right back to full in no time. I’m very pleased. I’m thinking about putting a 120v converter and seeing how it handles light 120v usage during the day as well

Solar power is awesome!!!!! I love camping in the woods and never listening to our loud generator. The kit contained everything I needed although it would have been nice to have more cable in between the panels so I could have spread them out more. The tricky part was running the wires through the Trailer and to the batteries. The batterie temp. wire is only 5 feet long but the batterie charge cable was more like 25′ so I could not use the temp gauge. The system has kept my batteries charged up since. Seems to work in the shade as well but really pumps it out in direct sunlight. Great product well worth the price.

  10. WD

Great product. Install went well Cables could have been a little longer to reach the batter bank on front of trailer. Keep our batteries all powered up and going for all our trips this summer.
