Oh these are GREAT! I’m very VERY happy with my purchase. The pic shows one light on and one off so you can tell the difference.

Really nice light output. They don’t look as nice as others but the performance more than makes up for it. This time of year (fall/winter) the lights don’t get enough direct sun because my house sits 60′ from woods. While lit, though, they look great.

Thes might just be the most well constructed solar lights I’ve ever purchased. And they’re quite bright! I’ve installed 24 of them on the perimeter of my new fence and we could not be happier with them. Just enough light to accent and provide minimal illumination. Each one seems to be well designed and well built. Time will tell regarding how they hold up to the elements, but I anticipate great things.

I installed 32 of these solar lights along my fence. It does not light up bright like a flashlight but it gives out the right amount of ‘mood light’ that will banish the dark and won’t annoy the neighbors or me. I used Scott’s mounting outdoor tape to attach them on the metal fence. Unfortunately, the back of the light are ridged but the thick mounting tape did the trick. It has been raining and they still stuck. Regularly two sided tape won’t hold it up because of the ridges. On a sunny day, the lights lasted til the next morning and on a gloomy day, some started to turn off around midnight. Great all around solar lights.

I purchased 12 of these lights to install on a new vinyl fence. Realized very quickly that the double sided tape I also purchased would not work. The backs of these lights are ribbed – not flat – therefore, it is impossible to get the majority of the double sided tape to stick to either the light or the mounting surface. But the lights do come with screws, which were easy enough to install the lights. All 12 of the lights worked great out of the box. Batteries were pre-charged, and the lights lasted all night long. Love the look! Construction is sturdy yet compact. It is October, so the next challenge is to see how it handles an Ohio winter.Update 1 – after a week, they are no longer staying lit thru the entire night. Even with a sunny day, they are dim or out when I go to work in the morning.

I love these lights. The light is warm light and it’s bright enough. The switch is much better and not rusty any more. It used the SMD LED. So far it’s good and running. It does not need direct sun light and it can run fir 6-8 hours if fully charge.

These Lights are Bright Really Really Worth The Money!!! One was taken from my bedroom window! They give so much light to my walkway So I don’t need to turn the porch lights everytime hubby is coming late at night! That even it’s cloudy all day so amazing how the brightness last longer than I really thought love love love!

in total I have close to 200 of these Othway Solar fence post lights. The first ones I bought elsewhere. Then I found out that Amazon had it cheaper. I believe I’m the perfect person to say on if these work well. I probably own more than anyone. I use these inside my house. I also gave family members in Cuba some of these after hurricane Irma. These have rechargeable batteries and the batteries can be replaced. Most solar lights once the battery dies you might as well throw the product. I have dropped these on cement repeatedly because I’m a klutz. LOL Not a single one has broken. I have a location outside my house that I charge the lights on and bring it in every evening. Almost every single light stays on all night long. Matter of fact most of these lights are still on after 12 hours. I live SOUTH of New Orleans Louisiana Where Hurricane Katrina hit. these solar lights are perfect for hurricanes. I know this is not what they are advertising it for, I no longer need to buy flashlights or batteries for hurricanes. I have a plan. When a hurricane will hit in my area, I will have my solar lights charged And take the light off. Then when the power misses, I will be able to push the little button on my solar lights and I will have lighting in my house for at least 12 hours. and if the power stays out for days or weeks on end, I will still have the sun and the ability to charge my solar lights.

UPDATE 11/18: its been another winter/summer and these are still working as well as ever. These are great quality and great price. There are some questionable solar products on Amazon…These are not among them. Ten stars.

While it is not the brightest on the market, it is exactly what I was looking for. It is bright enough for the application I am using it for and works as advertised. Holds a charge nicely, don’t know exactly for how long I fall asleep long before it dies out. I have it in the (on all the time it is dark) mode so cannot comment on other modes. I liked it so much I bought one of the two packs and after seeing how good it was bought two of the 4 packs….so I am not going to review the two pack. It hasn’t had to last a winter yet, that will be the real test, but so far I am extremely happy with it. Also extremely important to me and what sets it apart from other brands of lights is that the battery is just a normal double A rechargeable battery, so if it goes bad you can replace it cheaply. Again this is not the brightest thing out there, not by a long shot. I use it in one place to highlight steps, and in another to accentuate my garden at night on fence posts.
