Fast shipping , ready to use ,very well made. I use 4 30 watt panels to run my travel trailer hooked to two deep cell 12v batteries. Keeps up with my daily usage . Have been using this brand for two yrs.

I can’t say enough how impressed I am with the quality of this panel. Currently its been very overcast and I’ve only had it installed 2 days, but its putting out plenty of power for what I’m using it for. I have it hooked to 4 computer fans to vent the garage. At 10:30 AM with totally cloudy skies it was putting out 0.43amps and 15.3 volts to the fans. I will probably put higher amperage fans on to drop the voltage some.Update: I installed higher speed fans to use more of the power at 12:20PM with mostly sunny skies the panel is putting out 19.5 volts DC at 1.05 amps to the fans. This equals 20.5 watts at a voltage higher than the max power is rated at so needless to say I’m very impressed. These fans are rated at 121CFM at 24volts and I would guess at 19.5 they put out roughly 100CFM. I have four of them connected so I now have ~400CFM of high static pressure air flow for free :).It was packed perfectly my only warning is the taped side of the inner box had the glass towards the seam which I wouldn’t have expected. I was very careful when cutting the tape, but if you were careless you could scratch the glass. The panel frame is very sturdy I made 2 notches in each in so I could mount it using hose clamps to a clothes line and this worked perfectly. The ends are double walled aluminum so you don’t want to drill any closer than 1/4″ from the end which I found out the hard way on my first hole drilling into the out double wall. The wires and sealing on the panel were all well done as well. There is a little slide door that lets you see the wire connections. Currently I’m not using a solar controller but used ultra plugs on all my cable connections so it would be easy to plug one in. Online it said power output drops to 10-25% of max on cloudy days I’m seeing 24.7% of max power under cloudy conditions at 10:30 AM so I’m quite happy with that. There is no sun visible through these clouds so its very cloudy and darned humid on top of it.The panel wires don’t have any plug ends which I wouldn’t have used anyway as I installed ultra plugs (Deans plugs). They are perfect for small projects and can handle up to 30amps which in this case is way overkill.https://www.amazon.com/Connectors-Battery-Female-Shrink-Tubing/dp/B01CWYFS4Y/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=ultra+plug&qid=1565546276&s=gateway&sr=8-10So all I can say is super impressed overall. The poly solar crystals look so nice when you hold it sideways to the light I hated to mount in outside its practically a work of art lol.

So far so good. Using it to charge batteries for a gate opener. With a lot of trees, I have limited sun exposure so needed something with a little more horsepower than the 5 watt panels that come with most openers. It’s only been operational for a few days but I’m confident I won’t be running out of juice anymore.

Below is a review I submitted a month ago. Update: This thing works!!!! My battery has maintained a full charge since the original installation back in mid-May. The Newpowa panel has performed flawlessly! This was one great investment.I was a bit apprehensive about using a solar panel to charge my trolling motor battery–even though my boat is tied to a dock and sits in the sun daily. I was so wrong! The Newpowa 30w 12v solar panel works daily to keep my battery charged. I installed the solar panel along with an ALLPOWERS 20A Solar Charger Controller Solar Panel Battery Intelligent Regulator with USB Port Display 12V/24V in mid May and have not had to remove the battery or put it on a normal battery charger! And the trolling motor is my only means of getting around the small lake where I live and fish almost daily! All I can say is WOW! The Newpowa Poly Solar Panel has exceeded my expectations! Sooooo happy with this purchase!

I got this to supplement my 10W panel, and it certainly put out the advertised wattage under direct sun. It still manages a few watts under very dark and cloudy condition, which is great for keeping small electronic devices running. Mounting is easy as well.

good quality, 1.5 amps in full sun, baught 2 for “trickle charging” solar system in 25′ camper (baught 3 of thier 100w panels for traveling and they also ROCK)

I am using this panel to power lights, phone, sewing machine and other small electronics in my snowbird “crafts cabin” near Yuma AZ. It is paired with a small Renogy charge controller and a 70ah AGM battery. Right out of the box i was impressed with the sturdiness and quality build of this panel, from the flawless joints in the aluminum frame, to the neatly coiled wire waiting for me to install my choice of termination. I soldered on a longer piece of wire in order to reach the charge controller on the inside of the cabin. Outside, the panel sits against the cabin freely so i can move it throughout the day for best solar collection. Even now at winter solstice, there is plenty of sun at this location to fully charge my battery for a day of sewing and crafts and listening to music. I really like the size of the panel, very easy to move around, sturdy and attractive. I also like the fact that it was made in Vietnam, NOT China. 🙂

Great panel and working well so far but the thin cardboard box it was shipped in was just big enough for the panel with no additional protection. It was just luck it arrived safely with a hole punched in one side of the box fortunately on the back side missing the front glass panel.

This panel has been powering a gopro in my garden all summer. I’m doing a super long timelapse with the help of a hack called megalapse. The panel is wired to some 18650 lithium batteries, and the batteries are wired to my gopro. Perfect… The gopro has taken over 12000 photos this summer which are the frames of my video. I will finish the video when the garden is totally dissolved in the dirt in late fall/early winter.

The build quality was very good for a small low cost solar panel. There’s a lot of specmanship in rating solar panel power, but fortunately it’s fairly consistent across the industry. Don’t expect 30W from any 30W panel unless you’re in orbit. On planet earth, a 30W panel will produce around 20W in bright summer sun and that’s what this does. It produces milliwatts with oblique early morning sun or at sunset, but it produces 10-20 watts all day long, and maybe 5-10 watts when overcast.I used silicone sealant to mount it to a southwest facing roof for a super simple, quick and easy mounting and it’s worked well. A simple adjustable DC to DC converter prevents overcharging of my 120 watt hour LiFePO4 battery with built-in cell balancing and over/under voltage protection. I fused the output of the battery for a very simple and relatively inexpensive solar power system for an amateur radio station.
