Marey Power Pak Plus Tankless Electric Water Heater

The MAREY Power Pak 220-Volt tankless electric water heater combines the compact size to be installed almost anywhere with the power to provide endless hot water to a whole house. Its build at high quality standards to lasts many years.

It is the only water heater in the market that has the ability to be wired to a 10 Amp, 20 Amp, 30 Amp or 40 Amp breaker. (By wiring the unit to a smaller breaker you are limited to the power setting you can use). The Power pack is a versatile and reliable tankless water heater that can be used either as a point of use or to supply unlimited hot water to a whole apartment or small house.

It is also called water heater on demand, because it heats water only when needed, saving energy. It is designed in the USA and it’s perfect to supply endless hot water for up to 1-2 points of use simultaneously, this greatly depends on your incoming water temperature and flow rate. (for a variety of residential hot-water applications). Its compact design saves space and is easy to install.

It is ideal for a 1-2 bathroom house in a tropical climate. For regions with a cooler incoming temperature as found in most of the continental U. S. this would be more suited for a single point of use to achieve optimal performance. The amount of temperature increase will vary on the power setting and the flow rate of water going through the unit. MAREY has been in the water heating business since 1955, bringing tradition and innovation together.

I live in Hawaii, so the cold water is pretty warm out of the tap already. With that being said, after 3 weeks without hot water, the hawaiian warm waters werent feeling so hot in the mornings. I live in a small condo and use this for both my kitchen and bathroom as the sole source of hot water. This replaced a POU eco smart tankless hot water heater that barely gave me hot water for my shower. I use this on 3/4 power setting and the lowest flow setting and the water is insanely hot! What an upgrade! Highly recommended for entire house use in a hot climate. Cant image what it would be like if I used this on the highest power setting, which my electrical panel cannot handle. Love the flexibiity of this unit! Thanks Marey!! I am stoked to have you in my house!

I have a 2 bed 2 bath condo with the usual number of fixtures, dishwasher and front load washer. I have 150 amp service and we are using the 30 amp option. I live in south Florida which is were one would expect to get the best results to on demand water heaters. Showers are hotter, dishes are cleaner than before . The unit is installed in a central location in the condo; the unit should be no farther than 40 feet from the device. I am delightfully surprised at the performance.

I purchased one Marey Power Pak Plus 220V unit 3 years ago and it worked great for our two bath / bedroom home until it failed this past week. However, our water is hard (high mineral content) in the area we live and I suspect that’s part of the problem. I purchased this new one (same model) and sent the broke one in for repairs so I will have a spare ready when the new one goes out in 3 to 5 years or so. Point, this unit costs ¼ the price of some other brands and they all have a short life span in hard water areas. So, the Marey offers this best value…and their customer service for warranty and repairs were very responsive and helpful. Bottom line…. I highly recommend the Marey Power Pak Plus 220V. Note: I’d recommend that you place an easy access in-line filter/screen on both the inlet and outlet to the unit. The heating element on “all” electric tankless heaters produces sand-like particles while heating hard water that will clog up your sinks and shower nozzles.

Only have had this for a little over 2 weeks and it works great, plenty of hot water. Only two people and only need hot water for showers and doing dishes and we don’t use the shower and kitchen sink at the same time so I don’t know if it can handle both at the same time. I will find out how much I save on my electric bill at the end of this month.

I love this 220/240V water heater! Fairly easy to have installed. Even in the winter in the Southwest, I only need it set on 20A to have plenty of hot water for bathroom sink and shower. However, I am really disappointed with their customer service! I had some questions and I called several times and never ever received a return call or an email or anything! It’s too bad that they have such a great product and such poor customer service!

I haven’t had it long enough to comment on durability but it definitely gets the water at my taps and bathtub hot. It takes about the same amount of time to get warm water as it did from my tank wh. My house is about 850 sq ft.I have it set to the 40a and the flow at the lowest. To be fair tho, I have a lot of water pressure, so I’m sure that helps. If I open the kitchen, tub, and bath sink at the same time.. there’s a noticeable drop in pressure but unless you’re a psycho who takes scolding hot showers, the balance from the cold line will still give you a fair amount of pressure. The installation instructions are garbage. I still have no idea how they expected it to be installed with that bracket. I took a couple 2 inch screws of my own and found the nearest stud. It doesn’t weigh much, so you could even get away with not using a stud most likely. On a side note.. it is impossible to find a 3/4 to 1/2 inch nipple adapter locally. So if you’re like me and you want to use your existing 3/4 wh fittings.. you’ll need to find it online. I didn’t know it was called a “nipple” so it took me forever to find one!

This is a really on-demand water heater. It keeps up very well, and we never run out of hot water!!!
