The customer service is awesome. After many stumbles and fumbles trying to get the panel to work by myself, and multiple Amazon calls, I got an Amazon customer service representative who understood my situation, as they tried to set up the solar panel themselves too, but also failed (they said they just got an installer, but I felt I still had a chance). They said to contact the manufacturer (and also post questions on the products pages) and provided the email address, which I did. So an idea started forming as I talked to DOKIO about my issue, and they helped me through it. They have a video, which Idk if it’s on this products page, that shows how you can take the solar panel’s connector (which is a SAE), and shove it through a hole in the middle of the ‘cloth’ part of the panels.

Perfect purchase for me! I am in the process a travel trailer for a 7 month residence starting in the fall. I ordered this solar panel after extensive research and planning for anticipated electrical needs for dry camping. The RV dealership recommended a 400 watt 30 amp set up to insure air conditioning while residing in the Arizona desert. After YouTube video after video of installation and inverter, converter, attachment and the necessary wiring infrastructure I was overwhelmed and just about ready to pay way to much money to have a powerful system that would meet my desert living needs. All of the cost for materials alone breached $1500 and that was not including the 3 lithium batteries desired for storage and amperage at another $2700. I originally looked at this at the suggestion of my son who was relaying information obtained from a co-worker who uses the portable version of solar panels. I was not certain this product was going to be beneficial to my energy needs and spent 2 weeks trying to determine the right design for my situation. While shopping on Amazon for other needs this Dokio 220 watts popped up on the screen as previously viewed. Thinking that for the price and the potential wattage I would buy one because of the simplicity. I made the purchase and I have no regrets at all! I received the unit three days after I had ordered it and it was even more compact than I had expected. The UPS driver asked me to let him know how it worked out as he had need for some solar as well. I removed the panels from the packaging, opened it leaned it up against the RV and attached the battery clamps and I immediately was storing 14 watts of energy into the attached battery! One more of these panels and I met the recommendation of the RV dealer, saved probably 2 days of my labor and saved over $1200. I look at this as one of the smartest purchases I have made in my adulthood due to the overall performance for the final cost and no labor.
