I love the prg 650 series of protrek watches. I also have the prg 650ybe and cannot decide which one I like more. Outstanding night illumination the best I’ve seen. I haven’t used many of the features besides the baro function and it’s pretty accurate at letting you know bad weather is approaching. These watches are top quality as well. The prg 650y has a beautiful bezel that appears gun metal in color but shines silver off angles of light. The band is also a lighter grey color and the inside glows in the dark. Very nice indeed. For the price I feel like it’s a bargain. If you wanna learn more about these watches check out nutnfancy on YouTube he has an extensive review on the prg series of watches.

Awesome ABC watch. I was hesitant at first because the bezel looked very bright but in person depending on the light It normally looks pretty subdued. The functions are great and I like how the second hand moves with the different modes such as compass or selecting one of the time zones etched on the bezel.

This watch is pretty amazing. I love the functions on it and use them as often as i can. Whether I’m checking my elevation periodically throughout my hiking adventures, checking the temp at night when I’m backpacking, or simply checking the time this watch gets the job done with style. So again, functionally, this watch is pretty incredible. It also has a barometer which can alert you if there is a dramatic change in barometric pressure (indicating that winter is coming haha) and it has a compass! The strap is super comfortable and the underside glows a soft neon green (very aesthetically pleasing to the eye). Speaking of pleasing to the eye, the watch face itself is sexy and the size is just right. If you don’t believe me, check out my pics.Concluding thoughts: I have had this watch since June 2018 and I have worn it almost everyday since. The functions are great and its definitely going to outlast any Apple watch and its much better looking in my opinion. Did I mention its solar powered..This is a long enough review already. Be well everyone!

This is my second Casio solar watch so you know I think its a great product. This version is easier to set (thanks), has a simple but effective look and seems made as well as a much more expensive watch. This is a great product and I award it 5 stars! If you like the look, you wont make a mistake here. The only problem with all watches of this type is that the band will fail long before the mechanism does and there is not way to repair it.

I love this watch, bought it to replace a Citizen watch that I lost at an airport! :(. being an aviation enthusiast and with a lot of pilots in my fam, I’ve always loved watches with altimeters, barometers, thermometers, etc, I’m very nerdy about this stuff and this watch was just perfect, its very well built, not to light no to heavy and very comfortable to wear… the lighting is awesome and best part is it;s solar powered, so you can forget about buying and changing batteries, I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone!

This is my favorite watch. I’ve been rocking a Casio pathfinder triple sensor tough solar for 10 years. It’s still work but this is much classier looking and not beat up like my old one. I still wear that to work. The glow-in-the-dark band is a nice touch. The glow-in-the-dark hands (Pic3) are great, but the Ultraviolet LED on the analog face makes them look bluish (pic2) unless they’re really bright (pic1). The blacked out digital screen has its own white LED (2 total, which I never read anywhere until I got this).I scratched the Crystal so I’m considering buying a second one. That’s how awesome this watch is.Functions are easy to operate, more so than ye olde Pathfinder.I love it.I gave it a 5 star review and then deleted it so I could give it 5 more stars.10 STARS!

I’ve owned this watch for about 8 months now and so far am very impressed. I also own the previous version of this watch with the same opinion. The look/display of the watch is nice and simple, user friendly. The durability of the watch is also highly impressive. I wear this every day to work, and also take it on hikes/climbs. It has withstood the riggers of the emergency room and climbs up mountains with ease. The glass and crown have been slammed into rock with not a scratch to show for it. The band has also been surprisingly durable against numerous chemicals and the natural elements. The band is sturdy and robust, not flimsy or floppy as most other silicone bands are. The instruments have so far been highly accurate, and are easy to navigate. This is a good watch to own when you need accurate information and internet is not an option. This has been an enjoyable watch to ow, and looks great too. Would highly recommend.

Great looking watch and functionality. My main reason for buying this was that I was looking to buy an Invicta and figured for a little more, I could get a nice Casio with some better functionality. Also, I chose this over a smartwatch being that it stands alone, is solar, and has a nice style. The smartwatches are nice, but what happens when a model becomes obsolete?

I wear this watch everyday. I don’t pay attention to the thermometer because it gets thrown off by body heat. The compass works flawlessly for me. The altimeter is no help because I live in Florida where the altitude is mostly 1 foot above sea level, but I plan to test it someday. I’m sure it works fine. This watch keeps time very well, and stays charged no problem. Alarm is loud enough to wake me up, but I sleep light – there isn’t a setting to change the volume. The backlight doesn’t stay on very long, but I can read the luminous face no problem in the dark, all the points of interest are as bold as necessary. I keep forgetting to test the barometer, but I can tell the difference from outside to inside, so I know it works. Overall, this watch satisfies my curiosity a couple times per month, which is worth it for me, and I will use it more from time to time throughout its life. I like the way it looks, and it seems really durable.

I’m not big on writing reviews, but seeing as this product has so few, I thought I’d contribute one. For starters, this is an authentic watch. I ran the serial number and it came back confirmed. Authenticity is always a concern of mine when ordering online…you just never know these days. Now, on to the watch. I have had many and am a bit of a collector. I haven’t had this one long yet, but I can already tell it will be my EDC. There is a bit of a learning curve to getting it set up but once you do, it functions perfectly. The crown makes set up a little more complicated than it needs to be but aesthetically, it adds the classy touch of a dive watch. The illumination is top notch and the hour hands turn on with the LED backlight. All viewing angles are sharp and crisp. So far, all alto and barometer functions are perfect. The compass was even calibrated correctly out of the box. Thermometers are relatively useless on watches, since they are warmed by your body, but it can easily be taken off for about 20 minutes and get a decent ambient reading. All hands line up perfectly and the digital time matches the hands dead on (I obsess over things being synchronized correctly). The casing is large but not that goofy looks “cartoonish” size and I have medium sized wrists. The band is comfortable, and while not a necessity under any means, the part that contacts your skin glows in the dark for a bit which is oddly satisfying. The watch keeps great time. If I lost this watch today, I would definitely buy it again. I was weary of this one in particular due to the lack of reviews, but I can verify that it is exactly as described.Pros:.Great readability.Hands align perfectly with the markers and digital time.Navigation is easy once past the initial learning curve (took me 20 minutes tops to get it calibrated and set up to my liking).Beautiful classy, yet rugged, appearance. The illumination and backlight are ridiculously awesome.Strap is comfortable.Watch is that rare balance of light in weight, yet notably durable.I love divers, so this is subjective, but the crown is awesome looking and the knurling is just enough for a good gripCons: Only thing I’m not 100 percent stoked on is that the face is not recessed. I can see it accumulating some scratches over timeI will update in another month or so if anything changes or indicates poor quality. Otherwise, fantastic watch!
