    First, the metal and glass have a nice clean, modern look. The flames are larger and more colorful than we expected. You may have to wait a couple minutes after lighting for the flames to reach their maximum. Fuel filling is much easier if you remove (temporarily) one of the two pieces of glass. You need long matches or a long lighter to keep from burning fingers. I believe one lighting lasts about two hours. Follow instruction and do not add fuel to hot fireplace as it is very hot. It actually gives off quite a bit of heat which you may/may not wish, so locate accordingly. Unit appears to be strong. We are completely satisfied.
