It should be sold as a complete kit with hoses and clamps but other than that it gets the job done

As advertised

Works very well. Pumps fast. Only complaint would be that the clamps for the hoses are to small and it doesn’t come with any hoses. Still a great pump.

I looked at several pump kits with some going for $100+ and found this one for a lot less (although no hoses is partly why). I just used it to put fuel into a 15 gallon tank I have on a shelf where lifting 5 gallon tanks nearly overhead is hard to handle, but just holding a nozzle with the pump moving it up was reasonable. It worked fine. I didn’t pressure test it or let the gas nozzle spring closed with it running since I wasn’t sure of the hose barbs holding against such, but it moves fluid fine with a ~5 foot rise. I decided to only run it using a “remote starter switch” for control rather than having it running and use the nozzle for control (to also save on the power drain from the battery). The suction screen they had won’t fit thru a fill hole in a typical gas tank where I had to make my own suction pipe/screen, but that wasn’t too difficult. So nothing unexpected and everything works.

I purchased this pump about a year ago. I expected for the price that it would work once or twice and fail. Since I originally only needed it once, that was fine. But it worked so well I created a new purpose for it. It is now a full time diesel pump and still works great!

inexpensive solution to my problem. Diesel fuel in my RV 200 gallon tank became contaminated with algae. After dosing my fuel tank with biocide, I built a re-circulation and filtering fixture using this pump. This was much cheaper than getting a service company to polish the fuel. I ran the pump for 30 minute periods to prevent overheating of the pump. After 4 cycles, my fuel was clean again.
