Solar system kit wiring method and precautions
1.The solar system kit connection is divided into parallel connection or serial connection. The controller must be first connect the battery , and then connect the solar panels.
2.When the solar panels are connected in series or in parallel, paid to the highest PV input voltage of the controller. The voltage connected in parallel to the controller after the series connection cannot exceed the maximum input voltage of the controller.
3.The total input power of the solar panel can’t be greater than the rated power of the controller, otherwise, there is a risk of burning the controller.
4.When the cable is connected to each component, the connection should be stable and there should be no looseness.
5.The positive and negative poles of the controller and battery should be checked clearly. Do not reverse the positive and negative poles.
6.When the power rating of one controller is insufficient to meet all solar panels, multiple controllers can be simultaneously connected to the battery.

These solar panels work great. We have been trailer camping twice. Each time for six days. With these 2-100 watt panels it kept our 2 AGM group 27 batteries fully charged. I installed the panels myself in about 2.5 hours.

There was only one part that wasn’t intuitive; the final cables that go to the controller seemed reversed. But the controller won’t work the other way round, so once we switched negative and positive, it’s been working like a charm. I’ve got the flexible solar panels propped up on a couple of lawn chairs to make it easier to angle them to the sun as the day progresses. So nice to have power at night! Makes boondocking a whole lot easier. I highly recommend these.

Put this set on my Semi tractor roof. Install was very easy and it looks like in just a couple of days the 4 12v batteries will be fully charged. My truck is set up to haul my 5th wheel so it sits quite a bit until I retire. I will be back to give more history on how this set up works later. So far very impressed except for buying them a week before the cyber sale of 50 bucks off……. Bummer for me!! Maybe since I purchased this so close to the sale the seller will give me a good deal on an MMPT regulator…….

It charges my deap cycle battery very fast. It make a little buzzing sound when working. The light switch works good. Overall it’s a good kit to get.

I have not installed any solar products before and was very apprehensive about it, thinking I would have to have the system installed at a great cost. I especially didn’t want to drill a hole in my RV roof. However, after measuring carefully I found the best spot to drill near a vent and did so, and was able to run the wires down the back corner of a closet and into the battery storage compartment. From there it was easy to go up the wall to mount the controller, using wire channel all the way down the closet and up the wall. Fastening down the flexible panels was a bit tricky with butyl tape, but it all worked out great. I have a steady 13.8 volt charge on the deep cycle battery, which is enough to run my small refrigerator constantly. The controller that came with the package does not get hot like was mentioned in the product info.
