Can’t return it after July 1st so we’re stuck with it.**Update….After writing this review I received an email from the seller saying they refunded my credit card the full amount. Wow!! This tabletop fire bowl is perfect for my need. I already have a wood burning firepit on my patio and didn’t want to add another large item to my small patio. Thus, I flipped the firepit lid over and placed the fire bowl on top and it works perfectly. This way, in the summer I use the firebowl and in the Fall & Winter, I simply store it away and crank up the big boy.

There were no reviews when I purchased this fire pit, but I took a chance on it because I liked the size and the material it was made of. I must say I am VERY WELL PLEASED with it in every single way! First, the box it came in was a HEAVY, THICK, cardboard box (unheard of these days) with a foam insert that was precisely molded to hold this fire pit extremely safe and sound in transit, well thought out for shipping! The weight of this fire pit is phenomenal, I really didn’t imagine it weighing this much but am pleasantly surprised, this will certainly not be “tipping over” any time soon, very sturdy…featuring a wide stable base that sits flat solidly without rocking or movement of any kind! The black polished river rocks come in a very generous amount and are in beautiful varying shapes and sizes, mostly oval, but not all. The metal cup insert that holds the bio ethanol fuel is a good weight as is the fire tamper that comes with this to put out the fire when you wish, it is on a swivel handle so it can be used to go at the fire in any direction not only straight down from the top as I’ve seen others to be. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that it didn’t come with even a little fuel so, as is stated in the description, it “can be used right out of the box”…NO, it cannot unless you already have fuel of your own at home! I was looking at so many the day I purchased this and most all of them came with fuel…again, this does NOT so be sure to order fuel at the same time you order this fire pit so you actually can use it right out of the box!
