How are PERC solar cells Different?

i’m glad i got these big 320 watts 24DCV each sp/solar panels. i think each weighs about 50 lbs. well designed and its elegant. works great on my 48 DCV mppt. i have it installed on my lawn where the early sun is. highly rec this from Amazon/Renogy. Go Solar!!

Very nice quality panels… a bit heavy but not 3x my existing 100w panels… my biggest concern was shipping damage given other reviews but the shipper (NSD in my case) did a great job.. one small ding on one of two boxes with no damage to the product… hooked one up so far to test… 250w to battery (after losses) in September… I’m impressed.. may need bigger cable and a second mppt controller! A good problem to have

Recently installed all 6 panels. 3 per charge controller.3 face morning and 3 face afternoon/ evening. I get more power from the evening panels.I know not to expect anywhere close to rated output power unless at a perfect angle, which I don’t have.I used a 50% for my estimates and it seems within that range during sunlight.One surprising consequence of my setup is I get significant morning power from the “evening” oriented panels and evening power from the “morning” panels.While the direct output is considerable less than I expected, I do get extended hours of production.This may be due to the 3 panels series connections which increase the voltage to about 100V so the charge controller can still siphon current when the sun is not in direct view (reflected).
