This is a substantial well built solar panel… very impressed with the quality. I am using it as a mobile solution to provide auxiliary power to a lithium power bank. Be sure to use it with a solar controller that is compatible with the batteries that you intend to charge. The measured output is very close to the stated rating.

    It seems to work ok!

When I first received this I thought there was a problem because I plugged it into my backup power bank and it wasn’t charging. Turns out there were two problems; the power bank’s battery was completely depleted, and the solar panel was in a spot that wasn’t quite sunny enough.I moved the panel to a very sunny spot (8+ hours a day) and it eventually charged up the battery fully. Now it is working to keep it fully charged all the time, even when it’s not a really sunny day it still charges fairly well. The panel is light weight and comes with a couple adapters to get it hooked up to various accessories. I still needed to buy one adapter because my DC input was even smaller than the adapter included. That cost me $6 (for two) and works perfectly. Check your DC input first so you know if the solar panel is ready to connect or requires an adapter.

I’m currently full-timing in my van and purchased 2 of these panels to use in conjunction with a Bluetti portable power station. So far I’m impressed with the build quality and they seem like they will hold up well to the stresses of full time travel. They are definitely heavy and not exactly “portable” but they fit nicely behind the front driver seat of my van when I’m not using them and they are much more durable than the cheap foldable style ones that I’ve used in the past. The folding stands are very rigid and hold the panels up even in high winds.Performance wise, I’m getting about 150w with 2 panels connected in parallel which is pretty good considering the sky in my area is currently full of wildfire smoke. The anti-reflective coating works well, though it does seem to scratch fairly easily. This doesn’t affect performance at all, but just something to keep in mind if you’re transporting them in a way that they could get bumped around.Overall these panels are a good value for the money and I’m happy with my purchase so far.
