How to Connect to Generator
There is an expansion cable in the top cover of the Generator Power Pod. Connect the expansion cable to the expansion port which on the back of the Generator.
LED Light
The first light will show green, which indicates 20% charge. The second light will show green, which indicates 40% charge, the third light will show green which indicates 60% charge and the fourth light will show green which indicates 80% charge
and finally the fifth light will show green which indicates a 100% charge.

Our 15-year old gasoline generator died in the middle of the Texas Freeze this past February. We replaced it with a bigger gasoline generator. Then hackers took down the Colonial Gasoline Pipeline, and we realized we need to have a back-up to our standard electric generator back-up (in case we cannot buy gasoline during prolonged electric outages). We also bought this for a family member who had no generator. Because of no carbon dioxide emissions, as with the gasoline generator, this one could be used inside at times, which makes it excellent for apartments with balconies facing the sun. It is a little big, so storage might be a problem for some people. It takes two people to assemble the solar panels, but it isn’t hard to do. We keep it fully charged by plugging it into the house current on the first day of the month for a few hours. For unexpected outages, we will go to this one first. But when we know to prepare in advance for hurricanes or another bitter freeze forecast, we will start with our gasoline one, and use this one to supplement.

I Love the extra 300w from 1500w to 1800w the fact the it uses wing also is key with the great device.

I ordered my platinum series and tested it. I’m content so far and feel much better knowing I’ve got 1800 watts ready to go in the event of an emergency, outage, etc. I’m super paranoid and even store mine in a faraday cage:-)
