I bought this through Indiegogo, and finally received the new (fixed) version of this item. It works great so far, the battery capacity is as described if not better, I’ve run a 400 watt load on this for 5 hours without issue. I’ve also charged the unit using three solar panels in parallel (it comes with a parallel MC4 connector, do not charge in series it will fry the unit) and the MPPT seems to work perfectly resulting in excellent solar production. The only drawback is that the Leoch is a boat anchor, I would describe it as “barely” portable, I’m in pretty decent shape and it’s a real hassle carrying it up or down stairs. It does have wheels so on a flat floor it’s a non-issue.
