Low Flow Showerhead

Low Flow Showerhead

All of our Low Flow Showerhead are available in multiple finishes and 3 satisfying flow rates

Low Flow Showerhead

1.5 GPM

For those wanting to maximize water and energy savings without having to sacrifice performance. Consistently rated as equal or better than 2.5 GPM conventional shower heads. Our #1 selling flow rate.

1.8 GPM

Uses a little more water than the 1.5 GPM models but produces even larger droplets. Superior rinsing capability makes this flow rate ideal for those with extremely thick hair. Especially recommended for shower arms over 6.5′.

2.0 GPM

Uses more water than both of our other flow rates but is still considered a water conservation shower head. The exceptionally large and heavy droplets are reminiscent of shower head performance predating government mandates.

Especially recommended for shower arms over 6.5′ or ceiling mounts.

I was desperate to reduce my water bill after getting the first full month bill of over $400 on our vacation rental property. After reading the reviews on the High Sierra 1.5 GPM version, I figured I’d take a gamble. When my wife first looked at the showerhead, she said that thing is not going in our showers (too small and bland). I decided to take a risk and install it (which took no more than 5 minutes to remove the old one and install this model) to see what the spray coverage was like. I immediately thought they must have sent me a regular 2.5 GPM version as the spray coverage was so superior to our old 2.5 version I couldn’t believe it was just 1.5GPM. My wife, after taking a shower, asked me how much money would we save if we used these showerheads (a very good sign). After explaining that the shower water usage would be reduced by 40% (plus the reduced electricity cost for heating less water) she decided she liked them. I have installed them in all four showers and I’m looking forward to seeing the reduction in my water billing!

It looks like a minimalist thing, and it is.I replaced a 2.5gpm head with this. The 2.5gpm head was, well, weak. I figured I’d try this, and if I thought it bit the big one, send it back. It ain’t going back. The only complaint you could reasonably lodge with it is that the water pressure is high enough that there’s some splash, and if your shower walls do not go up high enough you might do some damage to the wall above the shower from spray.I like it; it delivers a satisfying shower both to the head/hair and body. It’s not a “Rain” shower; if you’re expecting that in a low-flow head forget it; you can’t have both at once. But it produces a wide enough cone, and enough pressure, to be thoroughly satisfying. It is dramatically better, in my opinion, than the weak flow-constrained “rain-style” showerheads out there. There’s nothing to clog or break; it’s a solid piece of metal with a nice swivel so you can point it where you want it.If you pay for water and sewer charges this thing will probably pay for itself in six months or less between the water and sewer saving, plus the lower electric bill since you’re not heating as much water either.Like I said, I was skeptical but since free returns can be had, figured I’d take a shot with it. I’m keeping it.

Ordered and it shipped fast…I loved the no frills low waste but quality and durable packaging. The shower head itself was in a thick but small tightly wrapped plastic , that was out into a very durable thick plastic bag that also had the very nice information card inside it . On the back it has the HAND WRITTEN name and date of the person who did the quality control inspection. Super nice touch. The date matches the order time.. so they are not just mass printed fake inspection signatures. The shower head has a super smooth motion at the ball joint. The machining and surface finish is really nice.. super smooth. Just feels like such a quality piece of work. The spray pattern is really nice… It feels like one of the old huge consumption shower heads.. the droplets are nice and big..Powerful spray.. almost stingy.. but not quite..Really really nice shower experience..And made in the USA.. that’s super nice to see also.Good job on a quality product..

Worth every penny! I feel like It’s a bit pricey for what it is but it is well made and does its job. This shower head feels like it’s twice the amount of water that it should be without the painful spray that feels like needles. My wife has long this hair and has always hated “low flow” shower heads because they typically have such crappy streams of water that never seem to do a good job of getting all the soap out. My complaint was that most of them spread out the streams so far apart and were so tiny that the water would drop 20~30 degrees by the time it got to your body so you would have to turn it much hotter than you should to get it warm enough. So we searched, and searched. Then I found these babies! I had to convince my wife to drop $40 bucks per bathroom but in the end we couldn’t be happier. And in case your wondering I wanted slightly more flow in the master bed for my wife so I got the 1.8 and the other two bathrooms got the 1.5. I honestly can’t tell the difference. They are both amazing.Alot of people said that this shower head is loud. It’s slightly louder than most but I feel like people will find anything to complain about. It’s really not that bad!Bottom line: this is an amazing shower head that is truly worth its weight in gold for those who are looking to save on water and still get a good shower.

I didn’t have high hopes for the 1.8 GPM model as the low-flow shower heads of the past were generally crap. But in CA you can’t buy anything 2.0 or above, and with a 28 gal hot water heater I was more tired of running out of hot water after 7 minutes in the shower – so I took a chance.I should preface my favorable review by saying we have pretty great water pressure, which certainly helps. If you have low water pressure, this may not work for you. The spray is not quite as “beat you up” strong as the 20 year old one we had, but I have zero complaints – definitely hard enough to rinse shampoo and conditioner out of your hair easily and it feels energizing enough. Got 11+ minutes of hot water and was able to do “all the things” I usually can’t do in one shower with no signs of it running out. Probably there was enough left for my hubby to shower up without having to wait 20 minutes for the tank to refill. I should have done this a long time ago.

This thing is amazing! It works so much better than our expensive-but-worthless “Whirl Air / Rain Air” 2.5 gpm Hansgrohe shower bar, despite using only 1.5 gpm max. The pressure this thing provides is awesome (probably 3-4x what we get out of the Hansgrohe). But, even better, the droplets don’t come out in a fixed array of lines — it’s turbulent and the droplets are constantly hitting everything in the cone of water. That means that you don’t have to move around to rinse soap off — you can just stand still and it’s constantly hitting every square millimeter of your skin. It’s also sturdy, well-made, and beautiful. I’m beyond impressed. The only drawback I can see is that it’s a bit louder than our shower bar, but it’s so spectacular in every other way that I could care less.

I don’t generally write reviews of products but this shower head is outstanding! I agonized over buying this shower head to be honest. We had a nice handheld one but it was 2.5GPM, and water is really expensive where we live. So I broke down and bought this water saver. What I was worried about was that the water would come out way to slow and the soap would never get out of our hair… daughter and I both have crazy thick and curly hair. Well we received this little beauty and turned it on and while the water does come out different it came out with plenty of force to wash our hair fine. I can’t believe actually that it comes out one entire gallon less then my old one because it sure doesn’t seem like it. The next thing I want to point out is that the way that the shower head is on a swivel ball mean you can really really move it around which makes it really slick to clean your shower. I was playing with it and wasting water just the other day and I can almost spray over the top of the curtain towards the back of my shower enclosure. So if you are contemplating and water is horridly high like mine is give it a shot. I am sure glad that I did. <3

Our family never liked water saver devices at all. When we got a $229 water bill last month it was time to get into water conservation. I went looking for a shower head that was full water saver mode and needed it to be nickel color to match our fixtures. I found High Sierra’s product that matched what we were looking for. On their site is a video that is longer that normal that caught our attention. My family was like hmmmm like a waterfall. Seems hard to believe and we decided to buy it and it was American Made and the reviews were high on it. My son and I installed the shower head(search for how to install shower head on the internet) and then it was time to see how this worked. We were taken back from how small it was and we were all like this is going to be a waterfall and we all laughed. Well let me tell you we all said this shower head is amazing! It really is like a waterfall and we all said it was as better than our old one and this one saves on water big time. In our opinion pay the extra price and you won’t be let down. This is that good of a product!

I have typically lived in houses that were fed with a well and as such I paid no mind to water usage. I would always dig out the water savers in whatever shower head that I was using to get maximum flow. Now it wasn’t like I liked wasting water, I just liked a good shower and your bog standard 2.5 gpm shower heads do not make for a good shower. However, I now live in a house were I have to pay a monthly water bill and as such I want to keep the bill reasonable. I tried the 1.5 and the 1.8 gpm high sierra shower heads and while I liked both of them the 1.8 has that little bit of extra oomph that really makes for a nice shower. Overall I’m pleased enough with these that I no longer miss the old water waster heads.

I once, long ago had a very small, very high pressure water-saving shower head that I really loved. Cost a whole $10 from the local hardware store, and was labeled as coming from Europe. Ever since, I’ve been hoping to find another like it, without success, until I ordered this showhead. No, it’s not the same company, and works a bit differently, but it has the same essential small size, high pressure and good distribution of water, while using less water than most other showheads labeled as water-saving.My wife wishes I’d paid the extra to get the version with the shutoff valve, but I take really short showers, so having that feature doesn’t matter for me. I would, however, add it if buying again.Note: There is also an older 1.5GPM version of this at the same price, but I figure this newer version uses a bit more water because it needs to for happy customers, and chose accordingly, with no regrets.Highly recommended!
