The Energizer Rechargeable AA and AAA Battery Charger works great. I use the charger almost daily to charge AAA batteries used in a LED night light, which is on 8 – 10 hours a day. We used to use alkaline batteries for this light but were going through them like crazy. Switching to the rechargeable batteries has saved us a lot of money. The charger is small and packed with a lot of features like charge indicator lights, red, yellow and green, that show the charge status. There are other red lights indicating a bad battery or wrong size battery being charged. But all that is explained in the instructions. Overall the charger with batteries is good value, and the batteries last as long as alkaline batteries do. Which means fewer batteries in the land fill!

We got this to charge my son’s laser tag batteries (three AAA batteries for each laser gun and each receiver, and there are four of each, so that is a lot of batteries). The batteries run out after about an hour or less of laser tag playing and it seems like the recharge in about an hour or a little longer. Overall I think this was much more cost effective than buying disposable batteries. I think these batteries might run out more quickly than disposable ones, but I don’t think THAT much faster, and so overall I think this was absolutely worth the cost for son to use laser tag regularly.

This is my second time purchasing rechargeable AA batteries and this batteries definitely hold its charge when just sitting for long period of time. The first rechargeable AA batteries I purchased was drained to 0% after just sitting for a couple days of not being used. I ended up returning it, but this one here even just sitting in our kitchen drawer for a week it still have its full charge. You definitely get what you paid for when you buy product from a trusted brand.

The reviews scared me with this one, but I trusted Energizer enough to purchase anyway. Honestly, maybe I’m lucky, but I’ve had zero – seriously, ZERO – issues with this. I am also convinced that some reviewers just had no idea what they were doing. If you’re assuming you don’t need to read any of the supplied material, then you probably also shouldn’t assume that you understand what the indicator symbols mean. Some reviewers said their batteries arrived bad… Maybe, but also, I’m 90% sure they just assumed the dead battery light was a bad battery indicator, and that the charging light was a dead battery light. Also, the thing beeps like twice when it’s done charging – another reviewer made it seem like it was torturing them with the beeping.Maybe I’m wrong, in which case, my bad, sorry you bought the worst product ever (apparently), but also… Hear me out… Maybe this product works exactly as expected.

I was very skeptical of it catching fire. I ordered these for my Xbox controller. I baby sat the charger for days because of people saying it catches fire or it beeps constantly. none of this happened I plugged the batteries in. it flashes tests the batteries then lets me know the battery level and begins charging. once it reaches full charge there’s a solid green light, battery’s last long I ended up buying an extra set of batteries for my camera that use the same charger because I love them that much. do yourself a favor if you can get these on sale its definitely worth it.

I like that this has an automatic shut off when plugged into the wall so that it doesn’t start draining the batteries. The other one we had would drain the batteries if we didn’t unplug it immediately from the wall. If we forget to unplug this one, it’s ok because it stops charging or draining the battery life! Definitely worth the money and the batteries, once charged last for several days with a lot of use!
