FAQ

Q1: What devices can the DELTA Max(1600)’s AC output port power?

A: With 2000W rated power, the DELTA Max(1600)’s AC output port can power most household appliances. It can support even 2800W appliances with X-Boost on. Before you use it, we recommend that you confirm the power of the appliances first and ensure the power sum of all loaded appliances is lower than the rated power.

Q2: How long can the DELTA Max charge my devices?

A: The charging time is shown on the product’s LCD Screen, which can be used to estimate the charging time of most appliances with stable power usage.

Q3: How does the Emergency Power Supply (EPS) work?

A: When your portable power station is plugged into the wall, any electronics plugged into it are powered from the grid and not its battery. When power from the grid stops, as in a blackout, the power station automatically switches to battery power within 30ms.

Q4: Why does the battery lose power when not in use?

A: The unit may be in standby mode where the power supply, screen, and/or inverter could be using up to 50W. Remember to long press the power button to turn the unit completely off. If the unit loses power when completely off, try recharging it to 100% and use it to 0% two or three times to calibrate the battery. If the problem persists, please contact customer support.

NOTE:

Please use the AC Charging Cable included in the package for fast charging. Do not use other cables to charge. Plug directly into an AC wall outlet and make sure that the wall output current is more than 15A.

I bought this to have as a just in case kind of thing and after doing research on solar generators this was my choice very small footprint and lots of power. So if I get power outages at least I have a way to get by. Thanks EcoFlow.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have many portable power stations at my house in different sizes and battery capacity.I personally love these little work horses and I take them to camping and outdoor activity events so I’m covered for charging all of my family’s devices such as iPhones, iPads, and even laptops.More importantly, I keep them fully charged because we have power outage in my neighborhood more often that I would like to have. Sometimes for more than a day.I have some well known brand 500W portable power station with 750W peak support but I didn’t realize until not too long ago that this is not even close enough to support even small appliances such as electric heater, electric kettle or hair dryers. You see, these appliances need at least 1200W to run them.I went camping this past summer and brought my electric kettle so I can boil water for coffee and teas. I brought my favorite portable power station and bragged to my friends that I have a way to easily boil water to make coffee in the middle of mountains at the camping ground but that turned out to be humiliation when my portable power station could not even power the electric kettle for simple water boiling. I initially thought my power station was defective but later learned that it doesn’t have high watt output to support the watts that electric kettle and other smaller appliances need.Fast forward few months from that camping trip and now I have this ECOFLOW DELTA Max that can support up to 2400W continuous output and 5000W surge output. This thing is not just a beast but I would consider it as the king of all portable power stations because I was really impressed with its feature, capability as well as free app that you can download and install on your smartphone to check and control this power station all from the app! Simply amazing and advanced power station that has all the bells and whistles!WHAT I LIKE:✔️ 2016Wh battery capacity – that’s a huge battery power✔️ Due to the large battery capacity and cell, this beast weight almost 50lbs but it has two sturdy handles that you can use to lift and transport, making it still portable✔️ 6 AC outlets! All my other portable power stations at most have 2 AC outlets.✔️ 4 USB-A ports with 2 Fast Charge support✔️ 2 USB-C PD ports with up to 100W support per port!✔️ 1 Cigarette lighter socket to power any devices with car charger✔️ 2 DC charging ports✔️ Super fast charging technology, including support for dual charging mechanism, which is really cool feature✔️ Amazing app for the smartphone that can check all live status as well as power on/off any ports!✔️ Clear and easy to read LCD screen with total input and output wattage as well as battery level % and remaining time based on current usage! Something I haven’t seen in other power station. Well done.✔️ The body material is well built and feels rock solid. The packaging with fitted foam was equally impressive.✔️ This brand is now becoming well established brand and receiving recognitions so I’m sure they have great customer support.WHAT I DON’T LIKE:⛔ It is a bit pricey but if you calculate the cost compare to other portable power station based on what this can support and deliver, it’s actually very worth it. I think of it as an investment to support my family and life style at home and for outdoor living.⛔ It is heavy but this is something you can’t avoid when getting high capacity battery cell. It would have been nice to have 2 wheels with a pully design but this is not a deal breaker.BOTTOM LINE:Like I said earlier, this is not only a beast but also the king of portable power station. I wouldn’t even say this one is equivalent to 4 of my other power stations combined since none of them can even power electric kettle to boil water. I’m now eyeing on smaller ECOFLOW power stations to possibly replace my other power stations to every day outdoor activities with much more easier portability but this one will be perfect for road trips, camping trip, and even at home when we have power outage. Highly recommend this amazing unit without any reservation. Bravo!** added video to demonstrate why this is truly the KING of all portable power stations!

This is my second EcoFlow product, I upgraded to the power of the Delta Max 2000. This unit is amazing and with the add-on of the Delta Max Smart Extra batteries (to 6048Wh), it meets my goal for emergency backup. The display is bright and clear, and quick charging. Nice array of AC outlets (6x), USB-A (2x), and USB-C (2x). The unit is light enough to carry where needed but powerful enough to power what you need. The quality is solid. Amazing solar generator. Well done EcoFlow.

I have been wanting a solar generator for years now, but I have been waiting for the technology to develop to the point that it feels “worth it.” Ecoflow has finally reached that point with the Delta Max. I liked the first one that I ordered so much that I ordered a second unit, along with a pair of River Pros. I’m using all of them on large commercial photoshoots and they are performing wonderfully. The Delta Max can power my laptop, 2 computer monitors, and multiple accessories while also charging camera batteries with plenty of capacity left over by the end of the day. The fast charging feature is super impressive. I’m excited to start using these with solar panels on location, too, for a greener power solution. I’m excited to see what comes next from Ecoflow!

This battery is awesome!! I am very picky about stuff, Eco Flow does not disappoint! I bought this to supplement my generator at night so I don’t have to worry about filling it with gas all night. But, I could take it on job sites, camping, whatever. After using it for a few days, I’m realizing how much potential it has.I bought 2 160w solar panels, and the Max battery. As soon as you plug it all in together (with very nice quality connectors I might add), the battery instantly turns on and tells you how many watts you’re charging with and how long at that rate it will take to fully charge. After it’s charged and you begin to use it, it does the exact same thing in reverse. It tells you exactly how long it will take to fully discharge at the current rate of use. Very easy to understand and use!For my purpose, I wired up outlets to backfeed a couple breakers in my house. (I don’t recommend anyone do this as it can be pretty dangerous and if done wrong I’m sure it would ruin this battery! I’m just telling this so you know the capacity of this battery.) I can backfeed my furnace and my refrigerator. You can see the two black cords with yellow ends plugged in by my panel in the picture. (Depending on how much you know about breaker panels…I can actually backfeed my whole panel since I’m feeding opposite phases with the battery, but this will only supply 120 and not 240….so while I can power every circuit, I can’t run an electric dryer or whatever.)At any rate, I opened my refrigerator to let the cold air out for 15 minutes. I live in Illinois, I set my furnace to 75 degrees on a night it was a low of 28 degrees outside. (We use gas for heat, but electricity to turn the fan to blow the heat into the house. House is standard construction, 3000 sq ft.) I flipped the breakers to switch over to the Eco Flow MAX. It immediately told me how many watts I was pulling (around 580) and how much time I had left. Since the load constantly changes in this scenario, I can’t trust how long it will last. This was just a test for me. I did this just before 8pm. Went to bed. Next morning I got up at 6am and went straight to the basement. House was still 75 degrees (that was a hot night, but I wanted to torture test this thing). My battery was still running those two circuits, and still had 10% charge. Pretty awesome!!You could TV, lights, fridge, phones, and a radio all night with no problem! I’m trying to talk all my buddies into getting one. I don’t know anyone who couldn’t use this a couple times a year just for emergencies. And if your power company charges different rates at different times, you could charge this while electricity is cheap, and run stuff off the battery while it’s more expensive to buy from the power company. It’s just a great idea to have around!Since then, I noticed that Eco Flow had a sale on a MAX battery with 4 160w panels. I contacted them about the sale to see if I could get in on the sale price. They got back to me within hours to tell me they would give me the sale price if I wanted the 2 extra panels. I bought the panels, and they gave me back almost $600 in refunds!!! This all happened within 2 days! This is a great product, and the company had equally great customer service!! I couldn’t be happier!! As soon as I see it on sale, I’m definitely getting the extra battery to hook to this power station!!

I have been involved in solar generators for a couple of years now. I have several of EcoFlows products and had a few of their competitors products and I am here to tell you that EcoFlow is leading the industry in this market. With each new product they come out with they are making things even better but not over complicating them with things you don’t need and they have outdone themselves with this Delta MAX.This Delta MAX in my opinion is the best all around SoGen that you can get on the market today. It has the perfect size, capacity, portability, adaptability, expandability and functionality.I have units that are smaller but they don’t have the battery capacity or power needed.I have units that have the battery capacity needed but they aren’t portable. The Delta MAX is a perfect blend of that. It has the power you need to run even the most power hungry appliance and it has the battery capacity to do it for a good amount of time. You can even add extra batteries, smart generator or solar panels to increase that if you need to, and it is still portable enough to take where you need. This unit is perfect for almost any situation that you want to use it in.You can use it for camping, worksite, power in case of blackouts or any other emergency use.You can use it as an EPS (Emergency Power Supply). You can plug it into the wall and your appliance into it. While you have power it will bypass the generator and use house power but as soon as there is a power outage it automatically switches to the generator and keeps your appliance running. With the addition of solar panels your options are almost endless.I am ecstatic that EcoFlow has come out with this unit. This unit just took priority over all the others that I have to be my go to source for any situation I may need portable power

We live out in the boonies, and our power goes out quite often. I wanted solar for a while, but was sticker shocked at the price of whole house systems. When I saw this product on YouTube, I knew I had to have one for emergency back up…Im a 62 year old woman, and not exactly tech savvy….after my husband made the panel frame…I was easily able to hook up 8-100 watt mono panels, and wire them into our new EcoFlow Delta Max…!!! It was super easy, and now each morning I watch our panels charge the Delta Max…Ive been testing out how much it will run…refrigerators, freezers, TV’s, computers, just about everything (all at once) except the stove and water heater. The great thing is that you can also take this on the go…camping, power supply on a jobsite…and its QUIET…no gas fumes…no nosy generator!! There is an app available to change settings, and check on the status of the Delta Max…its easy to use and gives you all your info at your fingertips. I love it!!! Thank You EcoFlow for making a plug and play solar generator that is user friendly and super practical!!

Ecoflow is cutting edge on power stations. No power bricks, great bright screen, fast charging, App control, true 120 volt (not 110) and much more. Max is about as heavy you want to lift with great capacity. No issues with this or my River Pro.

Tested this unit running my 7 year old LG 29cf refrigerator/freezer combo as well as my 5cf Frigidaire chest freezer, charged my cellphone and ran my modem/router. With all this connected the delta max ran for 13 hours. Total battery consumption from 100% down to 16%.As for charging its super fast less than 2 hours! I like that you can adjust the charge rate via the app and monitor output and input. Overall very happy with this unit so far and plan on buying more Ecoflow products soon.

I’ve owned the smaller Delta 1300 unit for a while now. I enjoy everything about it and just needed a little bit more capacity. When I saw the Delta Max 2000 come out, I immediately knew that this one met my capacity requirements. The Max 2000 is just like a bigger brother to the the 1300. Everything looks and feels the same except that it just has a bigger 2000WH capacity, bigger 2400W continuous output capacity, slightly bigger 50 lbs weight (still very portable and easy to carry even by one person due to the ergonomic 2 handle design on both of the long ends of the unit), and the bonus WIFI/Direct Connect Capability for access from my Android phone using the Ecoflow app. The WIFI/app access is of course optional and not needed for the Delta Max to operate. So far, I have plugged in a full size fridge, a 1500W kettle, a 1500W microwave, a 1500W air fryer, a sump pump, a furnace (gas/electric), a water heater (gas/electric), 700/1400W electric heater, obviously not all at the same time. That tells you it can pretty much power almost anything in the house except for 240V appliances. I’ve also put in up to 400W of solar panel input with no issues whatsoever. The 2000WH capacity will give me some decent time in case of an emergency situation where the power could go out unexpectedly in the middle of bad weather (for example freezing cold winter). I anticipate I could get several hours out of this in case of an emergency while I try to figure out how to extend runtime such as looking for fuel and running an outdoor generator to feed input into the Delta Max.This unit ensures I am prepared and I can protect my household in case of power outages that can hit unexpectedly and/or last longer than expected. Looking forward to many years of use as well as considering future products from Ecoflow.
