I installed 2 panels, batteries, control box, and inverter in about 3 hours. I put them on a new 10′ * 12′ shed/bunkhouse. I did the installation before we completed the interior of the shed and it made running the wire through the studs easy. I recommend you download and print the instruction manual from the product page on amazon as it is a better translated version than the one that came in the box. Shipping was quick, and the items came in multiple packages, but they arrived within a couple days of each other. There’s also a hook up on the control panel for a light 12V DC. I bought one a sconce light on Amazon and ran in to the door of the shed so now you can turn on a light before finding the inverter to turn on to access AC power.Good stuff!

Five stars. An excellent starter package that is easy to set up and expand. I’ll add two more batteries and two or three more solar panels. I did have a defective part but the issue was resolved quickly and easily.

  3. Sam S.

Well packaged. Batteries a little lighter than expected, but so far so good!

Decent kit for a starter. Was able to charge phones, laptops and power a small desk fan during the day and even throughout the night. Tech support is very responsive and helped troubleshoot to resolve a connection problem. I have since added several more panels and upgraded the controller and look forward to upgrading the battery and Inverter in the future for greater capacity to power an A/C unit, refrigerator and such.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Great product ease to install very happy with the out come. Just follow the instruction and be patient.

eco worthy has a video on setting up solar panel and battery installation. just search the videos on amazon. pretty easy set up and install.the modulator and inverter are great backup to power outage. i have maxed out at 28.9 coming in from my panels. I put quick disconnects on the panel so that i can disconnect solar panels from controller at anytime without having to unscrew them all the time. My bluetti solar generator plugs into the inverter and that gives me multiple outlets to use during power outage and another battery pack that can be charged by the solar panels.the bluetti comes with multiple charge setups as well. if you have a gas or propane generator you could use that to charge bluetti at night time and switch over to solar panels during daylight hours. Eco-worthy comes with larger units. but if you are going for whole house set up i would get a generac battery pack to connect the whole house set up to. Then you have the option to connect directly to your house electrical panel. You would need a qualified electrician to do all of that. This set up that i have is a quick backup set up . one other thing. by time you connect your panels up on the roof and send your leads down to the panel. your red positive lead actually becomes your negative and your black negative lead becomes your positive. if you look at my pictures on the quick disconnects you will notice that i switched them back to the proper colors with my disconnect leads coming off of the control panel. the reason this ends up getting crossed up is because the wire leads that comes with the set up are standard leads. you can buy quick disconnects and wire them yourself but thats extra work.watch the video that eco-worthy has and look at the pictures and you will see it is very easy to set up.

I have just received my kit and everything was there as listed and came fast. I bought this kit because I am new to solar and thought a all in one kit is the best way to start. My kit had 1 minor issue when I received it but so far the customer service has been phenomenal in working with me to fix the issue. Very happy with they way they have handled the problem so far. Fast and helpful responses from the seller.Unfortunately due to the weather I have not been able to hook up the system yet but will in a few days and will update and also on the customer service issue.I am looking forward to installing and using this kit.

This kit has worked out really well for my shed and the various projects I do out there. It provides enough power for me to charge tools, have lighting, run a raspberry pi and computer monitor. I was a little skeptical of the kit at first but after some testing everything seems to work fine.I used four 6 watt led lights to test battery capacity. I charged the battery to a voltage of 14.1 volts (less than the 14.5 max but should be >95%) and discharged down to 11.2 volts (again, above minimum voltage but should get pretty close to full discharge). There is no state of charge documentation for the batteries (I even asked customer service) but I assume I was able to drain >90% of total battery capacity. With the four 6 watt leds, I was able to run continuously for nearly 18 hours. I probably could have squeezed more power out if I went to the extremes of capacity. Overall I think the batteries are good. Maybe someone will test with a shunt at some point. The only down side for me are that the z-brackets are super sharp – I cut myself on them, so wear gloves. If you buy this, consider upgrading the PWM to an MPPT.
