Like any rechargeable you can use this in many ways. I use them for the cordless phones that have been in the house since i was a kid. Replace the battery let it charge and they work like new.

Something to note is the size. They’re ever so slightly larger than the typical battery and just fit into my Steam controller…just. I need to use something to pry them out when removing. But as far as function goes, I’m really happy.

Wasn’t sure about the Amazon basics brand but bought because of the reviews. Turns out these are great batteries. Although they come with a charge on them, I put them in the charger for 24 hrs before using on set. I use them in my wireless keyboard and they have out lasted my last pair of brand name rechargeables. I would buy again, if and when they ever die out.

Used on my outside deck lights and with a normal sunny day of charging they will last all night and into morning in the summer nights when longer charging days. Great price and battery
